Pero bakit marami pa rin gumagamit ng Know brands eh mas accessible nga in fact mga Shell lubes or other gas company's lubes for that matter? Dito pa lang sa Tsikot mas ginagamit and know brands.

Shell is the market leader in lubricants, followed by Petron, then Caltex. Mobil comes in 4th. Castrol is even smaller.

Philippines Lubricant Market, Engine Oil Market Philippines, Lubricating Oil Market Philippines, Industry Growth Lubricant Philippines, Philippines Lubricant Distributors - Ken Research

I dont know about quality pero the real reason why I opted for Shell and not those packages brands. Sa shell moving ang inventory, somehow guaranteed ka na the oil na binile mo eh kaka manufxture lang.

Minsan kasi yan mga over the counter oils na hesvily advetised, di mo naman alam baka mga old stock na yan. I know theres no expiration naman. Peo yun ,anner ng storage ng dealer diba.

Kasi its safer eith Shell kasi we know lagi moving, gursnteed ka na hinde naman na stock ng isang taon sa cabinet. Parsng ganun

Placebo effect. It tricks the mind into believing that it is better kasi yun Shell kumbaga sa kanto turo turo lang, kahit san meron. Peoplle tend to downgrade things that are very common to them.

Bakit mas mura ang barbeque sa kanto pero mas kakain ng burger steak sa jolllibee eith bbq sauce ang isang tao Eh kung tuusin mas authentic na karne yun nasa kanto, pero yun sa jollibee sauce lang.

    Parang ganun

I love you mini. [emoji1360][emoji175] Yun nga impression ko sa mga lubricants ng gas stations, parang bulok dahil nasa tabi-tabi lang.

When you say known brands, yun ba yung madalas i-mention dito sa forum, like zic, etc? Baka dito lang yun.

Mas mahal kasi ang gas station lubricants kaya gumamit ako ng other brands like mag 1 or mitasu.

But then talo siguro sila sa sales distribution ng Shell, Petron etal.

i have a feeling that these name brands' outlets will not sell you fakes, especially if the container has their name on it.
