Bakit sa pinas wala yung tulad ng mga napapanood ko sa US na may therapy pag depressed? Is phychiatrist too expensive for regular Juan dela Cruz?

Kasi may stigma sa Pinas when people find out you're having psycho therapy.

"may sayad" "sira ulo" "unstable" "taga Mandaluyong. Loob o labas?"

When in fact, like a regular check up sa doctor, we need to maintain our mental health.

Di pa mature society natin sa mga ganyan. When many people's concern is how to bring food on the table, wala na sila panahon para mag isip ng sound mental health.

Parang yung analogy ng sakit ng mayaman at mahirap. Sa mayaman, skin allergy. Sa mahirap, galis.

Sa mayaman, depression. Sa mahirap, may sayad. Parang ganun.

There will come a time talaga na you'll feel so down without any reason. It's like there's emptiness inside kahit na everything in your life is OK.

For a regular folks, this episodes will just run its course but for others na meron problema talaga sa Mind. They'll take action resulting to hurting themselves.

Yang depression na yan eh self-inflicted and unbalance life.

Pag nasa mall , napapadaan ako sa mga resto al fresco dining eh lahat nakayuko hawak smartphone. Kakain na lang chelfone pa din!!!!

Ako iwan celfone sa kotse. Wallet lang dala at susi kotse. Minsan iniiwan ko pa susi ko sa kilala ko tindahan. Bumubukol eh. Pangit naman kung sabit sintureras mukhang tito tatay.

And ang hindi ko talaga magets yung picture picture.

To balance life we need nature. Kaya im so excited baka isang buwan ako this june or september ikutin ko ulit mindanao.

I think it is expensive considering na dapat regular sessions pa yan, di ba? Health insurance cards do not cover it either AFAIK.

If psychiatrists advertised their services like dentists who have their own clinics, will people start seeking help? Sa ngayon kasi parang kelangan mo pa talagang mag-inquire sa hospitals para makahanap ng psychiatrist.
