parakeets aren't endemic to our country. they naturally live in one country/continent: australia. those escapees will be lucky to live in a day or two.

and if they somehow do find a source of food and water, local cats prowling about would be their main problem. they're just simply too ignorant on how to stake their claim in our world. although i have to say, i'm not sure if there are other predators of theirs in the metro's concrete jungle.

kaya one thing is for sure, if they escape their enclosures. it's a virtual death sentence for those poor critters because they're thoroughly dependent on their humans.

may pumasok na blue and white parakeet budgee sa bahay recently and nailagay namin sa maliit na holding cage. i'm guessing she was starving because she was attracted to the cages of the african lovebirds in our terrace w/c has got loads of food in it and around them (birds are messy eaters). now, i'm not sure what to do w/ it. papalayain ko ba o bibilhan ko ng mas malaking cage tapos bumili pa ng isa pang budgee para may pair siya.

so far the bird looks healthy naman although medyo tahimik siya w/c means she's not comfy 100%. the chirping fluff ball is obviously domesticated because she isn't deathly afraid of people w/c means it wouldn't survive out in the urban jungle.

If that's the case then buy another cage for it na nga lang. I wonder what happened to its partner. I assume they are always in pairs

I recently installed MPT Drivehub app for my easytrip and notifications kept on showing how do I disable it? I already turned off the notifications in the app settings but it still showing Traffic Traffic Traffic.....
