the traditional bifocal lenses are much cheaper.
there are those who prefer progressives, and others who prefer traditional bifocals.
progressives also do not show the reading part of the lenses. "young look", some would call the lenses, because hindi nabibisto ang edad nila. (the need for reading glasses sets in at about age 40 or so.)
i had progressives once. i didn't like 'em. others swear by 'em.

October 24th, 2016 09:16 AM #11220My wife is in her late 30s but looks younger than she really is. She was asked the same thing when she asked about progressive lenses. I guess that's a common thing, inappropriate as it may seem. Even our ophthalmologist asked our age before telling us that we'll be needing "doble vista" glasses soon.
