Shops are actually happy you pay in coins ... there's a coin shortage and most are having hard time getting coins from banks ... there are business that have a lot of coins though ... gasoline stations that are frequented by PUJs ... vending machines ...

i'd still welcome your purchase, even if you pay me 400 five peso coynes. at the end of the day kasi, i'll just haul all them metal coynes to the bank.
i'd probably ask, "sir, if you have ones and twenty-five centavoses, might i ask you pay the final 50 pesos in those denominations?"

    so i wonder,
how did you lug all those coynes with you to that store?
you'd need a wheel barrow and a sack to haul that kind of coinage around. who the heck in his right mind would do that?

i think the key here is do it in organized increments. small business owners that i've dealt with actually favor them from time-to-time. panukli na barya is often times a chore for them due to the coin shortage we've been having for quite some time now.

i bring my stash of hoarded coynes to the bank, in one fell swoop. the last time i did, the coynes nicely fit inside a small rectangular ferrero plastic box. a shade below 400 pesos total. i thought it would have amounted to more. sigh.
others may dispose of theirs in whatever increment form they feel.
    heh heh.

    btw,
2000 pesos worth of 5 peso coynes weighs only 6.5 pounds or 3 kg.

No, because my food is measured by grams and I eat the same thing daily for lunch (Mon to Thu) . I always have snacks in my cabinet and anybody can get what they want naman I also bring food a lot to share with my officemates (mostly chocolates or pastries)

BTT: Yung car jockey ng Toyota iniwan yung motor niya sa house namin. Personal motor pala niya yun. Tipid na Toyota kasi years ago they brought a car tapos 2 ang tao para the other one will pick up the car.

Anyway, I really like the Civic pero I like the service at Toyota so my next car will still be a Toyota

    or!
traffic situation nowadays rationalizes the use of motorcycles and not cars, when answering service calls.

Food delivery apps: I rather like Grab's implementation of the rider tip system where you can tip them after the delivery. With Food Panda kasi you submit the tip as your order, so they get it whether or not they do a good or bad job of handling your food.

Have a sober friend drive you home using your car. Kaya dapat there is always a friend that stays sober at ideally hindi lahat tig isa auto. Happened to an acquaintance.

Sometimes it's just inconvenient to ask a friend ... or there's no one sober ... and what happens to the sober friend's vehicle? ...
