I started feeling unwell too today September 8, so we decided to visit nearby clinic for consultation. The plan was to have antibiotics prescribed, my mom thinking that this is just a simple case of sore throat. Alas the clinic did not permit us to enter, and we just bought some deflam and paracetamol for the throat pain and fever. I'm thinking of availing covid saliva test by red cross but my mom is against it. She also doesn't want to visit a hospital, for fear of catching covid. I'm thinking of telling her siblings about our condition so they can convince her to take the test. I fear that these moments of inaction may prove lethal. I know that this is not the ideal place for seeking medical advise, but any wisdom from fellow tsikoteers is much appreciated. We've had our 1st dose of pfizer vaccine btw with second dose scheduled this september 20.
