Example na lang kung bakit nakaka inis bank sa Pilipinas. Xmas - kapag wala ka kilala sa branch, good luck na makakuha ka ng new bills. I tried this sa BPI pero kahit Nov pa ko nagpa reserve, hindi lahat ng request ko nakuha. Kaya no choice na naman ako to ask a favor sa kakilala

There is definitely something behind the story, if there's anything wrong with the check you wrote, the manager will call you to confirm if it is a go. Ito dun nya mismo sinulat, so to deny that bastusan na yan, maybe there was already friction and the bank was probably looking for a reason to piss him off.

And with regard to RCBC, this is the only bank who made me wait and beg to open an account, and I had to put up with the **** because I opened an account with RCBC Sec. Fast forward several years later, I was closing a payroll account in their new branch, tapos inaalok pa nila ako mag open dun. hahahaha true!! grabe nga yung over the counter withdrawal fee na Php 200, hassle na nga ang over-the-counter naningil pa ng pagkamahal-mahal.. sa kanila pa din mapupunta interes na kunwari binigay nila.. Panggap lang..

Hinde naman na bago yan concept ng over the counter withdrawal fee. I remembered 90's pa lang meron ng ₱350 withdrawal fee sa citibank.

Unfair naman talaga if you charge OTC withdrawal fee if the amount your going cannot be dispensed by the atm in a day. Sino ba gusto pumila para mag withdraw ng amount which an atm can dispense.

Yeah e minsan may time na LAHAT ng ATM nila offline, saka I forgot their threshold e. What if you need 50k e 20k lang kaya ng ATM mo pero ang OTC free of charge nila is higher than your withdrawal amount

BTW, I don't think tatagal din even without the red tagging kasi marami pinoy na abusado, now they are packing the goods na kasi marami daw namamakyaw

Sa BPI,you can set it online to 60k max ata, if you want more, just ask your bank to increase your atm withdrawal limit.

Thing is, misplaced yung post ni JD because he is comparing the OTCW fee to the minimum wage, wala namang minimum wage worker na nag atm or if meron man, they are willing to fall in line sa atm. Those who withdraw OTC need more for large cash transactions. Madali naman mag withdraw OTC, all you have to do is go to the manager and wait patiently dahil isinisingit lang yan sa teller discreetly, if you do this and demand na unahin ka pa, may problema yan.
