the wisdom of the ages versus the latest and the bestest.
it's a perennial question that we have to constantly wrestle with.
each has both pros and cons.

my recommendation is, go to the one you feel more comfortable with.

but if you are starting from scratch, i suggest the younger one. that way, your opportunity to stay with him long-term, is better.

Any naman will be fine basta decent hospital slmc or mmc, I asked my neuro for mri... ayun kita ng radiologist normal lahat. Paracetamol lng katapat

Dunno about neuro, pero mas prefer ko yung mas matanda nang doctor. Siguro habol ko is yung experience nya.

Nung naghanap ako ng doctor na mag-oopera sa leeg ko, I chose an older ortho, si doc jm ignacio. Lalo sa case ko na sensitive kasi. Sa SLMC ang consultation pero sa PGH namin ginawa yung operation.

If pedia neuro I know a couple of good ones. Also a very bad one.

The best one I know is older but is still updated with the latest in her field.

3 patients misdiagnosed, confirmed by 3 other pedia neuros. They don't know why that doctor couldn't see the same thing they saw in the patients' EEGs.

They didn't say that out loud naman. Had to ask the right questions to arrive at that conclusion. But they couldn't hide their concern and disappointment.

Sorry if I seem overly invested in this. Just that those kids would've had a much better chance of having a normal life had they gone to the right doctor the first time around. 3 misdiagnoses of the same case to me qualifies one as "bad" already.

Ako ganun ginawa ko kasi dati nagsciatica dahil pag gumigimik nagsusuot ako hapit na maong tapos yung wallet ko nakabukol sa likod. Eh hindi pa uso stretchable fabrics dati. So tatlong gastos yan ng checkup fee. So nakita ko may pag-asa gumaling yung pangangalay and yung nakakainis na sharp shooting pain(relieve only ng certain movement). And nafigure-out ko sa sarili ko din research eh deadlift nakacure ng sciatica ko/degenerative disk disease. Pain free na pero meron reminder pag umupo ako sa comfort room bowl na dikit sa pader like sa condo eh nangangalay talaga kasi sikip eh hindi makabukaka..

alamin mo kung sino neurologist yugn former pba player si eugene tejada. Grabe yun kasi sa leeg nainjured. Pero ok na ngayon.

just keep on researching. Incorporate mo din traditional chinese medicine yung taga ongpin manila fu yung mansion or yung sa richbelt tower annapolis street sanjuan. Parang pooling of knowledge. Tapos meron yung bago-bago ngayon mga functional medicine. Mga license doctor din yan pero more on nutrition. Yung kaaway ni presdu na crony ni marcos si alphaland may sariling functional medicine clinic yan sa makati. Kaso so expensive presyong balesin. So research ka lang ng counterpart na kaya mo yung price. Meron taga CCF na functinal doctor nagclinic jan sa jollibee plaza.

I prefer my doctors older and male, majority of them are contemporaries of our family friend doctor who is in his 90s. LOL. Ang female doctor ko lang derma. What I remember e mas mahal ang PF ng neuro compared to other doctors, pero pinakamahal psychiatrist
