    i still remember it.
i drove home at 1 pm or so, flood waters lapping under my innova's floor.
i had the oils changed afterward. nag-parang kape ang kulay.
along the way, i saw an MB100's rear, float, momentarily anchored by the front wheels.

my most memorable video is that of a big floater (a log?) with about a dozen humans on it.
it went under the bridge, and when it exited the other side, the humans had dis-appeared.
some say the humans were able to grab onto the underside of the bridge...

another sight to behold, were the streets beside the various casas, with dirty, muddied, ondoyed cars parked at the sides, awaiting "service".

We were in the US when Ondoy happened. It was just a few days after we left Manila when that much rain poured.

Saw the same vid and that is also the most memorable I can remember. It was not log doc but a collection of rooftop materials presumably from their own homes.

With the current at that rime and the speed of the flow, plus the debris within the river, I highly doubt it that they survived. It was so shocking to me coz in college we use to pass there going to sta. Lucia mall. It was so high i couldn't imagine the volume of water passing through that time. That's why it really stuck to my mind. I was safely home in the province then though I frequently go to Manila. Luckily I wasn't at MM that time.

We were in Singapore watching Formula 1 when Ondoy hits Manila.

I even wrote a blog for that. [emoji16]

This is really stupid of me but I think I damaged my left nostril. Naparanoid kasi ako that I inhaled the virus so I alcoholed that inside of my left nostril hanggang kaloob looban, e ang hapdi and I kinda tasted the alcohol. So I didn't do the right side anymore. Its been weeks and my left nostril is still barado

if you think you inhaled the virus,
cleaning your nostril in any manner, even if immediately afterward, is already a foregone conclusion.
it takes but a second for the virus to traverse the distance between the nostril and the nasopharynx behind it.

It was a Saturday and grocery day for us at the MoA supermarket. I was driving my 2-day old ride and went home via Coastal Rd... The left turn towards ZapAlab Rd under the bridge was heavily flooded but I took it nonchalantly.. A few kilometers away, I made a u turn on a short cut to our village because the road was impassable...

I even called the Branch Manager of the distributor where I bought my ride and complained about the leak on the rear wing.... He immediately sent a couple of his people to fix it in our place on the same day... Oh well, really a bad time as the streets were heavily flooded...

Ever since the quarantine, we've sometimes been giving canned stuff (1 or 2 cans), or instant noodles to kids or even adults who go house to house begging for something. Dati yung mga galing sa ayuda ng barangay lang ang pinamimigay namin pero now we add some canned stuff to our grocery for the purpose of giving away.

Lately, there's 2 kids that have been coming back every morning. Inaabutan ko pa rin paminsan-minsan ng paisa-isang de lata pero nawawalan na ako ng gana magbigay kasi nakita kong bagong bleach ang buhok nung isa. Ba't may pampakulay pero walang pangkain?

    Thats way beyond my league.

And the Tesla Model S Plaid edition is cheaper and will run rings around the Taycan turbo S ....

    But still too expensive.

A Model Y dual motor performance version is more than super satisfying for me. Or the Ford Mach E electric crossover...

Ford Mach-E is most likely to be the first one to be released locally given Ford's presence in PH ... There's a Jaguar I-pace available locally ...

7m for the Jaguar. No thanks hehe.

Hope they bring the Mach-E in. Its a good alternative and Ford Philippines has a good track record in pricing reasonably.....
