Eh bakit kaya hindi nalang abolish ang PRC at Civil Service Commission dahil kahit anong sikap mo magaral eh taong grasa at mga payaso langdin ang iluloklok sa gubyerno(Mocha, Robin,etc)..Wagnalang kayo mag aral, mga walang kwenta education system at regulatory system sa pinas.

Sans politics, me sablay talaga Ang CPD because it does not guarantee improvement, because the pro is allowed to choose between several courses, eh kung ikaw ay busy professional, syempre pipiliin mo ung venue na convenient sau regardless if the course is relevant or not to your current job, pwede ka pa nga mangyari na the course offered in that venue ay something na ikaw mismo ay kaya mong ituro, this because you just want to comply with govt regulations.

I know someone who has this dilemma, and you can't say na Wala syang malasakit sa sarili nya na matuto ng iba because he occuppies an important role in their R&D dept.

The true guarantee here, is ginagawang gatasan ng kapwa pro ang kapwa pro. Pakialam ko kung gusto nilang umangat intellectually/professionally. Pagma comply ko ba ang CPD may maibigay ba na magandang trabaho/sahod si trillianes? Baka search engine pa rin? Tumataas BP ko sa sundalong kanin na yan!

From 45pts down to 15pts ang CPD ko, I was able to gather 77 points in 3yrs puro self directed pa, so i don't get the dilemma of others. Either bugok na pro or nag change of line na siguro vlogging inatupag at being paid troll.

Kaya mga bugok ang mga professionals ngayon puro reklamo, ang CPD to monitor and educate, hindi pede yung kulturang pede na dahil nakapasa.. Pero sa sistema ng gubyerno, wag nalang nga mag pro, tutal naman eh wala narin proper ethics yung duktor kayang palitan ng makina at botika online consultations, yong engineers pede na kontractor, abugad kahit sinong kengkoy, at mga government posts na wlang qualifications.

Constant improvement naman is needed talaga. Wala namang profession ang stagnant na lang learning, that is not forward thinking.

Society and technology are constantly evolving, so professionals need to adjust as well and properly equip themselves. My 2 cents lang naman. Problema na nila kung for thw sake of compliance lang gagawin nila. Sila din lugi dyan.

there is much to be desired, in the mechanics toward the objective.

i don't know about the others,
but in my profession,
i owe it to myself and to my patients, to actively attend our annual conventions. just attending it once a year, garners us enough points to qualify.
aside from the academics, there is the commercial, and there is the socials...

Parusa yung CPD not because requirement but because of the PRC system. Pwede naman pala online lahat dapat sinama na yung CPD council sa renewal online. Ang akala ko eh wala na babayaran dahil online kona binayaran aba eh 500 for CPD acreditation plus 150 doc stamps then yung opis ng CPD council nasa other side ng CCP, bakit hindi nalang pinagsama sa Sofitel-side. Then ang haba ng pila online December ako naka sched but this month ang expiry ng card, buti pumayag i-renew dahil may dala ako frontliner certificate.

when i renewed,
all i brought with me was my expiring ID and three original bond paper-sized certificates, each with xerox copy...
i paid the usual renewal fee. only.

i am not pasang awa.

Maybe, but not all, meron talagang mga overwhelmed sa trabaho who even work at home on weekends, which I think is the norm right now. These people receive constant upgrading in their field thru company internal seminars which cannot be claimed for points. If you are a pro who is an expert in your field, the courses that are accredited will just be simple nice to have knowledge. In the real world, who hires a pro because he has received trainings on fields not related to the job? Maybe they shouldn't abolish this, but provide better alternatives rather than a offer a few courses. I will bet, that a lot of OFWs attend courses irrelevant to their field as they have no choice but to get what's available during the time they are back here. Waste of time and money, they're better off spending it with their family.
