    The problem is, not all students have good internet connections. Lectures are made online, but there isn’t any healthy discussion. Instructors also cannot transmit their point across clearly via power-points. Iba pa rin lectures. Quizzes & exams are also given online at a limited time pa. What if you miss the schedule due to your inefficient internet connection. That happened to me for around 2 weeks at the start to the CQ because of the squirrels. Students are actually willing to forego their summer vacation just for normal classes. There is a thirst for knowledge, you know.

    It's been a long, long time since I heard drag racing on subdivision streets and roads. But, there are few cops out on the streets. And, yup. These kids don't give a crap about the pandemic. I can hear em drag racing.

    in the olden days, if the coffee gets cold, it is discarded.
    today, they charge extra for cold coffee.

    in the olden days, denims with worn or damaged look are marked down.
    today, demins with the worn or damaged look are more expensive than denims with no marks of wear.

    in the olden days, diamonds with no impurities are prefered.
    today, diamonds with no impurities are suspect.

    somewhat.

    hindi na yata alam ng mga makabagong magulang ngayon, kung ano ang "bird's eye".
    i do not remember, when i last saw a semaphore of lampins.
    but i have yet to see a barangay trashpile that does not have a discarded disposable diaper.

    news coming out of north korea is akin to light exiting a black hole.

    and will the successor have an effect in NK's role in world policy?

    I'm also interested on that. It's a lady so there's a little chance that this one might be more cooperative and might relax the iron hand. Not a sin to hope.
