I was seriously considering leaving my corporate job and just move to the beach.

Pero i asked my friend na lumipat sa elyu, ayun hirap din pala buhay doon.

    1. Maliit sweldo, 6k ang monthly rate, barely enough for rent na 5k and daily expenses.

    2. Just like the city, mundane rin on weekdays. Saturday night lang daw masaya.

    3. Almost all the surf instructors have day jobs as well (laborer, driver, waiter, and etc.), they just surf after work to train.

Contrary to what we see, feel, and think; it's not all glitz and glam.

I like that kind of set up.. slow and sustainable life lang ang goal.. Kaso kinain na din ako sistema ng mundo.. If kaya lang i-cover ng manual labor ang expenses and other needs I will leave my Desk Job.. Good for you Sir you have that option.. Good luck po sa decision making..

some years ago, a new product, instant hot and sour soup, entered the market.
i had some of it, and i thought it rivaled the ones being served in the restaurants, at a huge cost difference.
but after a short time, the product disappeared from the grocery shelves.
    why, kaya?

If you will hopia eh go holand. I like the wintermelon, hopia baboy and dice kondol. Im not into hopia monggo but yun ang best seller. But donot buy the ube and custard. All of their hopia crust, the round ones are flaky good.

    i am curious,
why do the larger shells seem to favor the lower parts, and the lighter shells, the higher-ups?

to deal more damage to the ship's vulnerable part which is the lower area.

I would guess many of the 16" shells hit the deck because they had a parabolic trajectory. The 5" shells probably were direct fire with maybe a tiny bit of drop. Obviously, the deck has more surface area than the superstructure. The opposite would be true with the 5" shells.

That would be my guess. Otherwise? I dunno.

If you look at the naval Battle of Samar, the US destroyers had similar 5" guns. They peppered the superstructures of several pursuing Japanese cruisers.

Depends on the expected size of the stuff you are going to compile...

I imagine developing on a small screen would be difficult though kasi maliliit yung mga frame sa tabi.

After using a 15" for dev work though, parang mahirap bumalik to a smaller screen unless for very simple tasks.

He can always plug in another monitor.

Feels like you're not granted leave at all. Parang in-offset mo lang yung pahinga mo. Nagpahinga ka nga for 1 day pero overtime ka naman pambawi.

We have this thing where you have to accumulate billable hours (meaning you have to do work na pwedeng i-bill ng kumpanya sa client). May target for every month. Ideally, lahat ng ginagawa mo sa office dapat billable. Any other tasks na hindi billable (like meetings, admin stuff, trainings) kelangan bawiin mo with billable work through overtime. All overtime is paid though.

For college student kasi. Just cheap 11 inches netbook. Mahirap kasi dalhin sa school kung malaki or mabigat.

Your post just reminds me that I have a desktop with broken CPU but working monitor and a laptop with faulty (pinkish) screen. I can combine the 2.

Trip to gilmore can probably bring to life the broken desktop.

    Picked up a motherboard for a 4th gen intel for <php 1500.

Laptop with faulty screen can also probably be repaired (panel replacement) for <3k

Both will be good as (better than) new with a new SSD.

Not really an option now pero it is my dream to be a beach bum.

Pero upon learning the realities of beach bum life, parang gusto ko mag sabbatical nalang. 🤣
