Pangit na nga TJ, parang papel na rin, no more bite, we shifted to swift, it has better bite and smoky too.

very possible bro. overpaid din kasi ako talaga.

Ako naman career related din, I'm thinking if I should learn Spanish this year. If tututukan daw kaya matutunan in 1 year. Para if may mag open na bilingual role sa team namin, pwede ko applyan and mas may advantage siguro ako kesa sa external hire kasi alam ko na yung process. I just really need to be proficient sa Spanish. Doble ang increase sa sweldo because of the language premium.

I can also work on my development to prepare for a promotion. But then, mas malaki ang salary ng bilingual. Mukha akong pera kasi gusto ko na mabayaran yung housing loan ko the soonest so I can work on being financially independent.

Career choices are always about the money, no need to demonize it with such term as "mukhang pera" .

If one chooses a career not primarily due to financial reward, then that is a vocation.

I was in the same boat before, I forgot the term they used, but simply put, misaligned na nga ang compensation for the position, so they either promote you, if you deserve to be, or buy you out, forced separation package.

Fresh off from college, I bombed my first job interview because I couldn't communicate in English. Maybe it was nerves. I felt bad for a while but after that I took out my Judy Blume pocketbook and read it out loud. I did that everyday for about 3 months. On my next application, I got the job and was even told I was articulate. I used the 'skill' to get into the BPO industry and from there I got to corporate.

So yeah l think if one will commit to it pwede talaga matutunan.

Actually my real ambition is to be debt free and save enough to retire early so I wouldn't have to work for money, but instead do something I really like and if I'm lucky, maybe earn money from it. Hayz.

I make sure that we're always stocked up with Virginia (kahit ako lang naman kumakain) Yung hungarian 2nd pack na (decent for a non deli brand) The red I don't like too much, TJ is better. Virginia is cheap pa.

May red pa pala ang Virginia, so is the New Yorker positioned vs PF's TJ or Franks, price wise?
