A new White Ranger Raptor was trying to race with me earlier in the SCTEX. From my rear view mirror i could see he was weaving about at high speed. I was using my LC200. Anyway when he got alongside me he was at full throttle. I stepped on it, the LC200 dropped a gear or 2 and Pulled away from him easily. We went at it for a couple of straights with the same results . I think he was capped at 180 or 190 kph and his frustration was evident as id see him flashing his high beams when id pull away. He was probably wondering how a lumbering SUV could out power his brand new toy.

He ended up using the shoulder on the entry ramp going to NLEX trying to overtake me. I just let him go as he was driving like an a$$ coz he was losing badly on the straights. Once we hit the NLEX he couldnt weave in and out anymore due to the volume of cars though he was trying. I just stayed in the leftmost lane and eventually re-passed him.

    This LC200 is strong......

Looking closer at the painting of USS Gambier Bay, that's the Yamato on the bottom right which was the sister ship of the Musashi (sunk the day before). That action off Samar was one of the few combat actions where the Yamato took part. Strange that for such a powerful ship, it saw little combat during most of WW2.

At first, I thought it was a Japanese heavy cruiser because many photos mentioned it. But, that profile on the painting was too sleek to be a cruiser. Then, I remembered the slow US ships were being overtaken by the fast-moving Japanese fleet.

The point in time the painting depicted would have been before a torpedo attack by another US destroyer (either USS Heermann or USS Hoel) that forced the Yamato to veer back north and out of the battle. That was important because the commander of the Japanese Center Force (Adm. Kurita) was aboard. He lost sight of his ships and situational awareness which contributed to his indecision. That, in turn, helped save the remaining US ships.

It seems these diesel-fed Ford vehicles are capped at 180kmh. Once in TPLEX, an Everest 3.2L tried to pass me while I was doing 150km so I gave him a bit of competition. He stopped accelerating at 180kmh so I just cruise past him.

Had driven late last night around 270kms with half tank of my borrowed mirage car.
Unang gas station na nadaanan ko ay sarado. Yung pangalawa/last gas station along the way ay nalampasan ko dahil nasa expressway at medyo madilim na nasa kerb sya. Had driven on eco mode and less 2k rpm most of the time. Awa ng Diyos dumating naman ako with 2 more bar left in the tank.
Laking tipid din pala nitong mirage lalo na pag eco mode driving ka.[emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
First time to drive this type of car kaya di ko alam what to expect!

pero you can replace it naman ..

yun lighter color (white) ang fuel filter, which is replaceable

I remember when they made me buy this whole assembly from I think 7k surplus, when I only needed the gas "floater" mechanism.

    my guesses.
    1. more effective cooling.
    2. cheaper and/or lighter (plastic grille versus metal sheet).
    3. because the competition just upsized theirs.

My take on it, car designers meet every so often to discuss/present car design trends for the coming year/s. Noticed how, with LED, light design became smaller, positioned differently from the previous model across all manufacturers. Same goes with the grill. If in the car conference, designers agree that the 2020 grills will be bigger, manufacturers follow suit. Para bang trend. If you don’t join in, outdated ka & you might be left behind.

People, I get it if your anti or pro administration, but I don't get it when someone will say it serves them right if some government officials hails from that city or part of the Philippines and that place was hit by a major calamity. Come on, are we that so low now? Those victims are human beings for God sake, instead of helping them, we bash...hay tao nga naman.

That's what you get if the leader and his ilks are so vile and full of contempt toward their perceived political opponents.

Never heard anybody wishes ill on anybody when Yolanda happened.

Gawain kasi ng mga supporters eh. Tit for tat.

I think I've said this before this admin would have been tolerated if not for the actions of their supporters.

Wala ng lahat Pilipino it's either you're against or for this admin.

Pagtwanan mo pag meron nangyasi masama sa supporters nila dahil sigurado ganun din gagawin nila.

Is it right? Of course not. Pero ganyan na panahon ngayon

Gloat lang ng Gloat. Ganun din gagawin sa inyo.
