Watching the awarding ceremony of the F1 Italian GP last night,- with Leclerc winning,- I was surprised to see the Indonesian flag being raised.
Later on I realized that Monaco and Indonesia have similar flags,- red on top; white at the bottom....
Poland on the other hand, had it reversed: white on top; red at the bottom....
Just got back (to reality) to Pasig this 4:00 AM. Tulog agad ako pagdating namin.
We covered approx 3000 kilometers for the whole trip. That's for the back and forth trip plus yung mga pinasyalan pa. Sa Panaon, Misamis Occidental yung pinuntahan namin.
The trip lasted for 3 days. Details of the trip are as follows:
Day 1: Panaon to Lipata Port in Surigao
We left Panaon at 5:00 AM and reached Ozamiz Port at 5:30. We boarded 6:30 yata or 7:00 AM. The line of cars and trucks was already long when we arrived. Crossing to Mukas Barge took 30 minutes. We had our lunch under a nice shade along the road at CDO. Dinner at Jollibee Gaisano Butuan. We stayed at XL Pension House which is just beside Lipata Port.
Day 2: Lipata Port to Calbayog, Samar
We left Lipata Port by 8:00 AM via FastCat. The weather is fine. Cloudy but no rains. Waves were moderate. We were lucky enough to see dolphins swimming beside us. We reached Liloan at 11:00 AM. Had lunch at Andoks in Palo, Leyte. We passed by McArthur Memorial Park but it was still under renovation so we decided not to make a stop there anymore. We reached Calbayog, Samar at 9:00 PM. W had no idea that it was fiesta in Calbayog that day. Hotels were fully booked. We got a room at Baypark View Hotel and spent the night there. BTW, they offer breakfast buffet and the dishes are good! May cereals for kids.
Day 3: Calbayog Samar to Manila
We left Calbayog at 8:30 AM and reached Santa Clara shipping at 10:00 AM. We were lucky to get the last car slot for the RoRo. The vessel left shortly after we boarded and reached Matnog at 11:30 AM. We had our lunch at Jollibee Sorsogon. We obviously love Jollibee. lol. We did not have any stop overs aside from bathroom breaks. We reached Pasig at 4:00 AM Monday. The bus and truck drivers at Quezon are scary. Hahaha. Speeding and over taking here and there.
For those who are wondering, I had 4 passengers (wife, son, mother- and father-in law) and our speed throughout the entire trip averaged 70 km/h. I do 90-100 only on long straight roads and overtake only when no visible cars on the opposite lane as we are more loaded going back home (dami naming inuwing prutas!). Our mobilio performed excellent during the whole trip. No problems encountered. I enjoyed the twists and turns in the mountains the most. I have some pictures on my phone and will try to upload later. Inaantok pa ko ngayon eh.![]()
I thought my 2 year old dash cam needed replacement na. Yung SD card lang pala that was going faulty.
May old SD card ako from my previous phone so ni-recycle ko na lang. Funny thing is, kahit class 4 siya, it reads and writes 720P videos fine. I thought only class10 SD cards lang would work for recorders?![]()
Bro - Maybe it was intermittent on the class10 electrical tests on access, read and write cycles and so was binned as a class4 product - but then passing your specific application
Or it was passing on the class10 electrical tests but the demand was for class4 products and so was mark-downgraded to class4.
We occasionally do that in the manufacture of electronic parts....
Man, a traumatic afternoon for me & the missus. After doing a short errand in SM Southmall, we were on our way back to the car when I heard what seemed like a wooden cabinet falling. I go “whoa, what was that?” When I heard the janitor yell “may nahulog!” A man fell from the upper floor! He was sprawled on his back, not moving, apparently dead. Which leads me to wonder why SM doesn’t make an effort to prevent these things. This is not the first time it happened. Actually the third in SM Southmall since 2014.

Ganun din sa SM Bacolod, I'm not so sure kung Ilan but I know dami rin tumatalon from the upper floor, the management extended the height of the glass wall a little but I think if meron gustong tumalon ay kaya niyang akyatin pa rin.

I'm planning to make my 11 year old kia carens as a project car, have the suspension changed to coilovers, have it detailed exterior and interior, change the rims, tune up the engine...the works, and after all are finished, give it to my 2nd son as his car when he goes to college next year, what do you think guys, ok na? Or buy a new car for him? Pero gusto ko kasi he wi learn muna how to maintain a car before buying him a new one

Thanks doc, yeah kasama na bonding. Yup, that's the plan, change the mounts too. Yeah, I agree, it's more of a family car than a car for a college guy, that's why I'm still thinking about it.
