I'm not interested in having Nitrogen in my car's tires. But, it came with the car. So far, it's holding up well. The TPMS indicates no loss of pressure on any tire and it's been almost 5 months.

Why do wives think husbands are experts in everything? There is such a thing as "I don't know."

"use ordinary air. after a few weeks, the oxygen would have leached out, leaving behind 'nitrogen-enriched air' . refill with ordinary air.
after a few cycles, the gas in them tires would now be nitrogen."
come to think of it, the gas in our tires should be nitrogen-enriched by now.
ah well...
just thinkin'.

A web belt? The ones I used (US DoD issue) had a full water canteen and a gas mask with case attached to it. The longest I had one was 4 years. When I turned it in after I was done with it, it operated like it was brand new. Oftentimes, I had my helmet suspended from the water canteen. But, the suspenders took most of the weight. So, the belt buckle was not being stressed a lot.
Oh. I'd also have other junk like a flashlight, survival knife, and nerve agent antidote packs hanging from the upper chest. Again, the suspenders took most of the weight.Last edited by Jun aka Pekto; September 3rd, 2019 at 08:37 PM.

Yep that kind. Am thinking the plastic/polymer may get brittle over time. Might be a moot point since i found my old metal buckled belt ^_^
