I think I'm the only one who appreciated the white 70's era Ford Escort at the Trans Sport Show yesterday. If I wasn't mistaken, it was a Mark 1.

The poor thing was largely ignored, but as someone who used to get old cars running as a hobby, I recognize how hard it must have been to scrounge for enough parts to get it showroom worthy again.

You are not the only one who loves that car. The Mk 1 is the Mexico, the Mk 2 is the Brenda. I saw one in the MIAS. It has that bare bones appeal I always admired in this car. Unfortunately, this car is so rare nowadays.

I wish it were that easy but my Lola means so much to me. I posted it here na, she favors me to the extent na she wants me to have more than my share sa inheritance (but I listened to Tsikoteers advise and told my Lola that's wrong) Basta sobrang dami din little things that makes me feel so loved. Pag may gusto ako food kahit 100 kms away pa, hahanapin or bibilhin niya. Once nga I got addicted to her paksiw, daily nagpapahatid sa house namin. Lola ko extremes e, pag ayaw niya apo niya kawawa hahaha
