still contemplating if i get the camry or the rav4.
My vote goes to the Ravie too, have had one for almost 15 years. Only failed me once and that was because I forgot the battery was already 3 years old. Good thing paalis palang kami sa bahay and not while on the road. Changed the battery to an Amaron and it's still going 2 years later. The roads in Da Pilipins are just getting worse day by day, and with the rainy season coming soon, it's a no-brainer.

Truthfully, if the 2019 Ravie didn't have the 2.5 petrol engine and the bare features for prices they're selling them, I would be driving my second one by now.

On the subject matter, I can't figure out why some people some people never use their turn signals on their cars. Is it pure ignorance or just laziness? If there's even the slightest chance you can avoid an accident, there's just no reason not to use it, right? Simple logic.

But it will be the future though. That's probably safer than letting a drowsy person drive anyway.

As the video implies, I think that tech is allowed in the US, although sleeping is not, hehe. Tesla is a front runner in all this tech wizardry. There is another video of a self navigating car using GPS and all the other techs combined, sort of like a robot car, you can program to a specific location. The car can stop on corners then turn to the designated route & stops when it reaches it’s destination. All without the help of the driver.

Yes, sorry I meant about the sleeping part. But self-driving cars are already on the streets over there for quite some time now.

I do wonder if we will ever see the day that all, if not most, of the vehicles on the road will be self-driving, prolly not. I will be long dead and gone by then.

Anybody remember that movie Minority Report with Tomas Cruz? hehe.

    probably a bit of both.
but i bet a fender-bender resulting from non-use of such, may just make him see the error of his ways.

People who don't use their turn signals? Here, we call them BMW drivers.

They like to scoot in and out of different lanes without signaling, sometimes with barely one car length of clearance. Perhaps, they wanted to show the prowess of their cars because there's nowhere else to show it. Certainly not in rush hour stop and go traffic.

I can understand if it's a unanticipated occurrence, not intended, when we realize all of sudden that we need to stop at that corner or grocery store to buy something essential, I'm also guilty of that. But as soon as I stop, I use my signals.

Perhaps you're right Doc, hindsight will teach them (some, maybe not all) that had they used that little handle on the left, they might have avoided the crash, or worse.

Race car driver wannabees? Feeling professional daw sila dahil mabilis sasakyan nila? Sounds like insecurity to me. LoL.

I think dyan pumapasok yung ignorance, dahil hindi talaga tinuro sa kanila tamang paggamit ng turn signals. Parang yung mga nakaka-kuha ng lisensya na nagbayad lang at hindi dumaan sa seminar at written exam.

That is to the detriment and hazard of other drivers.

    In short, "Sweet-Potato" drivers.

Yes, I'm speaking from experience. LoL.
That's what hurts the most talaga, yung you found your soulmate but you can never be together - not in this lifetime I know he will always be in my heart, my shortest but most intense relationship

I will contact him before I leave the PH to say sorry for what I did, sana pansinin ako, otherwise puntahan ko siya sa office (j/k) My Mom asks about him also. I need to control myself lang talaga because he is so perfect. Saka I need his professional opinion on something, and that's his expertise

Believe me, I know how you feel Ms. Cathy. I was at the point where we were planning our wedding. But some things are just not meant to be it seems. To this day, she still won't speak to me, even though it was a mutual decision. I even regularly talk to her family though, and that makes it more difficult some times. Masakit talaga, but we all have to accept it. Pain reminds us were alive and makes the good times all the more worth it.

Wow, a last farewell scenario before you go abroad for how many years? Parang napanood ko na sa cine yan ah. Gaano Kadalas ang Minsan? starring Dindo Fernando and Vilma Santos. LOL. Just kidding.

Be extra careful you don't end up alone with him in some dark place. Even you know what can happen in those situations.

Ilang taon na ang inyong relationship bro, before both of you decided to quit?

Ilan taon na kayong split? Time heals all wounds, - kung matagal na,- dapat civil na kayo...

In Manila, QC, Makati, Pasay, Kalookan, Parañaque & other highly urbanized areas, using your turn signal is a sign for the drivers on the other lane behind you to quicken & close that gap, thus preventing you from changing lanes.

Met her in college bro, stayed together for 5 years before we mutually agreed it wouldn't have worked.

That was more than 10 years ago, I tried reaching out to her 3 times already, but got no replies. Even though I can see she read my messages thru email.

She is unmarried to this day bro, I've been married for more than 8 years now, with two children.

Maybe she misses my katawang pang romansa, that's why. Mwahahaha!
