February 9th, 2019 11:32 PM #23922there are physicians who exist to issue medical certificates.
ditto medical exams prior to OCW deployment abroad.
there are physicians who do surgery, prescribe tablets, talk to his patients (!), etc, for their professional income.
there are those who do ... both!
as i said above, "kanya kanyang gimmick po yan".
btw,
issuing medical certificates can also be professionally harmful.
worker recall due to un-diagnosed illness can be bill-able to the institution who issued the clean bill of health.
and if said institution is found to have a repetitive history of such... they can be banned.

Can't decide if I'll get a nice soundbar or an entry-level one.
Tried a few models in different appliance stores and while there was a noticeable difference in audio quality, I wonder if it's worth the huge price difference.
The entry-level Samsung M450 already has clear mids and highs and acceptable bass, all for just 10k.
The JBL Bar 3.1 has even better mids and highs and best-in-class bass, but costs 31k.
Anyone here care to share their soundbar experience?

I've read about the SB350, although it's been succeded by the Bar series. The SB350 is similar to the JBL Bar 2.1 as they are both 2.1 channel 300W systems. I tested the JBL Bar 2.1 (18k) and it sounds similar to the cheaper Samsung soundbars I tried.
The Bar 3.1 is significantly more expensive but it's also noticeably better. It succeeds the JBL SB450 as they are both in the 450W range, although the 3.1 has a center audio channel while the SB450 is just a 2.1 system.
My options right now are:
1. Samsung M450 (10k)
2. JBL Bar 2.1 (18k)
3. JBL Bar 3.1 (31k)
Still ruminating if it's worth the extra money for the 3.1.

February 10th, 2019 12:28 AM #23926Just a suggestion, I don’t know if you are considering yamaha model and where you plan to pug it.. this one i use for over 2 years now in my room, YAS 106....
YAS-1 6 - Overview - Sound Bar - Audio & Visual - Products - Yamaha - Other European Countries
with its price and sound quality, i have no complain... the built-in subs and sorround speakers does it job...
although they also have higher end model if you want to try...

I tried the 5.1 also but don't see the need for the detachable speakers. I don't have a dedicated spot for it in my living room and many reviews have commented that the surround sound isn't as prominent anyway. That's the only big difference between the 5.1 and 3.1. They even have the same subwoofer.
Thanks for the tip though on Listening Room. If they offer 15% discount for the 3.1 also then that puts it at 26k which is a pretty good price I think.

Are they on track to surpass last year's sales?
