Might be yet another smoke screen. What we should also be asking is what is going on aside from this breach.

Exactly, sir. You nailed it. Blaming the contractor for supposedly "running away" with the data is just too convenient for them. For all we know, the brains behind this is SG Calida. Now that we don't have proof that we applied for a Phil. Passport, all the passports in our hands are void "ab initio". Seriously, something sinister is afloat. And with this government, it's more the rule than the exception when something like this explode.

What if they're just pretending they "lost" it?

Is APO the supposed contractor / scapegoat who ran away with the data? But wait, APO is also a part of the government!!!! So, WTF????

"The Philippine passport is printed in Asian Productivity Organization or APO Productions under the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) since 2015."

"Michael Dalumpines, chairman and acting chief executive officer of the APO Production Unit Inc., "

"Dalumpines, who was appointed last year by President Duterte, said the transfer of printing to APO was necessary because the old e-passport system had various technical issues."

F that contractor. The PNP/NBI should hunt them down wherever they are hiding. Running away with that kind of data is a criminal offense.

Maybe when they say powerless that is another term for “we dont care”

Siguro naman may names sila nung company management. File a case sa PNP, NBI and for good measure timbrehan nila mga taga-interpol at immigration. Thats a start. Make them criminally liable..

Pwede ring powerless kasi may utos galing sa taas. Pwedeng sinabi ng Panginoon nila na wag nyo gagalawin yan sagot ko yan.

Truth is, everyone is in the dark here.

Just goes to show that we cannot trust the govt.
