just pass over the sensor, and the goods are all paid for.
We have something called PayMaya, electronic credits din yun.

I think may coin counting machines naman din right? Pour in the coins, and it sorts it by denomination. It winds up in bags of P100 to P500 worth of coins per bag.

Yung nga lang, papalit-palit din yung mga coins natin Yung P5 and P10, parang 1P rin na rin halos! Malulugi ka...

Yung sa grocery ng relative namin, they have difficulty giving "exact" change kasi hirap sila makakuha ng mga 5, 10 & 25 cents, kahit on very good terms sila with nung mga BM of nearby banks where they have accounts.
Being in good terms with the bank doesnt guaranty they can always ask for it bro, i remember before i worked in this chinese fastfood, pag hirap makakuha ng coins we brought them the famous halohalo, ayon minsan sila pa natawag if we need coins. Until gumaya na greenwich, complete snack na sila halahalo and pizza..

i wish we had our local version of octopus card. acceptable for paying in many establishments, simply by swiping it over the sensor.

who will do the pouring? who will handle the sorted bags of coins? who will purchase and maintain the coin-sorting machine?

in my opinion, it is partly the fault of the consumer. we have this habit of keeping our coins in the house, in the office... anywhere except in our puertas de moneda, where they can be handed over to the cashier...?
i ask you, when was the last time, and how often, do we actually give coins to the cashier?
tambay lang tayo sa tabi ng kahero sa mall. how many times will we see a costumer hand over loose change to the kahera/kahero?

sa expressway. how many of us give paper money, and how many of us give coins?
    hassle, 'di ba?
when i slex, i try to ready the exact amount. i even wrap 22 pesos in coins, to hand over.

Reminds me of the little girl that got molested/raped sa restroom sa isang resto sa MOA, the following days ang kwento eh resto in a "mall" na.

in abs cbn stations, the news anchors do not mention the name of the institution.
"may sunog po sa isang malaking mall sa edsa..."
now, how in heavens will i avoid the place and the probable traffic it will generate, if they do not mention which one it is...?

Pero ok na ngayon. Nagbibigay ba sila ng exact change. Before lagi rin ako hinde pumapayag. I juts tell the cashier that baligtsrij namin situation or kuha ako ng item na malapit sa cash register then sabihin ko kulang pera ko but i still want to buy it.

Hassle to wait for item delivery in a condo. Everything needs a gate pass.

Then you need a separate letter for installation.

And another letter for rennovation which needs their approval.

if the item is small enough,
i ask them to deliver to my workplace. it is open 8-5, M-F, easy to find, may telepono na, may secretary to answer and entertain pa.
then i just handcarry the item to the condo, with my worker walking beside me.

errr... ano po ang pagagawa ninyo?

Not to mention that they only allow construction or renovation work within a prescribed time.

Just experienced this earlier, went to a small grocery near a train station to buy some chips and drinks.

A guy from the store asked me if i am paying in cash, i said yes. He then told me to scan the items i was about to buy, then asked me to insert my bills, ala vendo, then got my receipt and change.

Sabi nung kasama ko, kung sa Pinas yan, baka mas marami na hindi dumaan sa scanner

The items i bought from ansons arrived (ref stove washer dryer and the stove exhaust). I need a separate letter as the installers will arrive tomorrow.

And then because i need to drop the ceiling and add a glass partition in one of the bathrooms ..... i need a permit pa.

Well its all for the best....so the tenant wont have any hassle.
