Thinking of going to MIAS tomorrow morning... [emoji848]
I used to go every year when I was younger. Then lost interest when it became all about girls and chinese vehicles.
I don't plan to buy a new car this year, so there's really no need for me to go. But for some reason I feel like going this year. Maybe I'll read about the displays and see if it's worth it.

April 5th, 2018 08:21 PM #18853Decision time:
New mustang GT or audi rs3. Im taking out thr Nissan GT-r from the equation. Its super fast but too fast for me. And it scrapes over every hump in my village.
Audi rs3 pros:
Its AWD - can floor it anywhere
Its compact - easier to point and shoot
Its fast - awd traction and lighter weight
Its a 5 seater - my kids can fit in the back
Can daily drive it
---------------------------------------------------
Mustang GT pros:
It looks the business
That 5.0 v8 motor sounds great
New 10 speed ultra fast transmission
Magne ride suspension which adjust 1000x a second to keep the car stable
Active exhaust with 4 sound modes (quiet, normal, sport, wake up the neighborhood)
Very tunable
Can buy a Mustang GT AND a Ford Ranger Raptor and still have change vs the Audi rs3 price

April 5th, 2018 08:30 PM #18855Errr originally yeah but i dont have parking anymore for it. Id need to sell a car to make room for it....which im not willing to. So it was kinda impulsive of me. Either way i can use the deposit on the mustang or get a full refund.
The mustang , ranger raptor and GT-R are all sold by the same dealer owner.

April 5th, 2018 08:43 PM #18858I sold my Mustang last January
Lotus is too hard core for me.
The fun small car was supposed to be the RS3 but the pricing is crazy. Audi philippines is nuts. They offered me the RS4 at 9m which made me want to shoot them. In the mouth. With a shotgun. Loaded with nails. And salt. Grabe sila mag patong.

April 5th, 2018 08:49 PM #18859The thing that niggles me though is AWD always wins here in our driving conditions. The mustang will never, ever hook up at full throttle.
And the torque curve of a turbo audi is so addictive. Some people like the linearity of a big 5 liter v8. I like the always on punch of a turbo.
If our roads were wide open and long (the drive to anvaya cove via the sctex is an example)....maybe the v8 would be a cooler thing to have. But since we are always in traffic and a small gap in traffic is considered heaven-sent, a turbo for that quick kick in the seat pants feeling is much more enjoyable

9M for an RS4? That's crazy. How much more for an RS6/RS7? Maybe they are matching the pricing of BMW for the M3.
What's the most powerful AWD car money can buy for less than 5M with a quick-shifting automatic tranny? I guess that would be the best fit for you.
A relative of mine in Canada had his Scion FR-S PPF'd and then had it ceramic coated. He says it's...
