i think "khiang" is combination of matalino and mataray and malakas ang loob

kasi may matalino na tahimik and submissive eh

like mataas ang pinag aralan pero submit sa husband

like diba meron traditional na babae na hindi nakikialam sa business and hindi nag iinteract outside her social circle

meron naman mga babae nagpapatakbo ng business, dealing with customers, dealing with govt people, etc

ung ganyan babae i see as "khiang"

Tinging ko uls sa ngayon Pag mas mataas SES ng pamilya mas "husband and wife" ang decision since more or less equal ang educational background, both are earnings and couples are more open to communication.

Pag nasa C, D, E na. yun tatay na masusunod kundi bugbog yun asawa and walang sariling income yun babae. Wala rin Education so asa lang sa asawa na laborer.

Middle class kami, not C, D or E but my Mom submits to my Dad. My Mom is in her 70s and I would think empowered for her generation. She has a masters degree and started driving in the 60s, right after college. Kahit strong and independent Mom ko she still lets my Dad be the man of the house.
