1. for their own security: everyone is provided with locker, mobile cabinet, and desk drawers. I like it more to hear them complaining about my bad habit (most of you may say) than hear them whining something valuable is lost. other staffs/workers regularly enters/exits the room.
2. 5S: a place for everything, a everything on its place.
3. fun and/or harsh way of instilling discipline.

I know of a big energy shared service company who practices 5S strictly to the point of standardizing the items that are placed on the desk. Photo frames or any personal trinkets are not even allowed. Well, company policy id company policy. It depends on the culture. In our office though, we allow them to do anything with their personal space as long as it not indecent (subjective). The message is that the office is their 2nd home so they need to be comfortable enough to be productive.

whenever i see handbags of our female staffs left on their desk or chair, i have the habit na ibuhos ang laman on top of their desk. and if they’re out for long, even the stuffs inside the smaller bags/pouches are also taken out. well, that’s one of my unwritten rules in the office... never leave bags on your seat or desk, or else!

there’s a time i mixed up stuffs from 3 different bags. epic!

until now, I really can’t get it why do girls need to carry too much stuffs, hehehe!

Still can't believe what kind of day I went through today. Someone I know was comparing his new V truck with my car. He was asking me earlier if my car is equipped with an alarm that goes off whenever you leave the door open and the car is on neutral. Also asked me how many cup holders does it have, what was the top speed clocked and demonstrated the auto climate feature when we took a ride.

Seriously. Opened up a whole new level of 'understanding' for me.
