there are other illnesses that have nothing to do with heart rate, and still kill at the snap of the fingers.

Seriously, I think some people in their 40s still think they are invincible like they were in their 20s..

My crush is an exception though, he in his 40s but he is still perfection Super kakagigil

bayaw ko few years back, a newbie wanted to do a little biking, told him short bike ride from bicutan to petron daang hari only, going home we were at bf his right leg cramped up, so he needed to stop and put his left leg down, doing so caused it to cramp also....so now both legs were cramping while on his bike...we were laughing whilst trying to carry him and his bike,
here is a vid of him at a village sucat going home, most of our friends left us already with me babysitting..

why makes your crush an exception?
hindi kaya, yung ini-isip mong 40s na pa-tanda na, ay 50s na sa totoo!

Because he really is exceptional. He is the youngest in the leadership team (at least he looks like he is). Also most men in their 40s receding hairline na and with tummy. Siya thick hair at matikas pa. He has it all (good looks, intellect, personality and career) Matindi pa kasi he doesn't make patol just anyone. He has standards and that's why I feel so lucky that someone like him wanted me too

Akala ko naman obese. Looks like a normal 40+ yr old.

It makes me wonder if 40 somethings should still be exercising hard?!? Stick to s3xercise na lang

Buti na lang si crush ko ganda ng arms hahaha

Really? The guy's arms are okay naman. 47 is so close to 50, dapat hindi na masyado hardcore sports. Pero hindi siya payat, but he looks a little overweight (not fat though)

Medyo kinabahan ako sa news kahapon re the ironman cebu death. I thought it was my basketball teammate in the abl who perished since he's a first timer to the triathlon scene and he's been quiet on social media since the race began.

It turns out the mofo is doing ok but he wasn't able to finish the race because he blew out 2 tires in the bike stage of the contest

Unfortunately there's always risk in joining those events. Accidents happen, and it's up to the organizer to ensure the safety of the route, and that their quick response team can monitor and react timely to fortuitous events. But even then they can only do so much. If it is your time, it is your time.

Pangatlo, kung nililinis ko ang mga iyan sa garahe o may binubutinting ako, hindi ako umaalis ng bahay (other than their regular maintenance or repair is needed, but these can be scheduled as we could use the other rides). So, no competition.

Hindi ba nasabi sa iyo bro kung ilang percentage?...

Ito iyong threadmill test na kailangan mong ma-hit ang 220-your-age na heart rate di ba?

Yup. Napaka rare naman ata ng nakakatapos ng stress test e. Ilang beses na ko nag stress test in my lifetime since I am paranoid about heart disease. Kahit yung friend ko na varsity swimmer, she took her stress test in her 20s, hindi rin niya natapos. I think basta ma hit mo yung normal sa age range mo.

Weird naman nung namatay. Baka naman may hypertension yun? Ewan ko ba bakit usong uso maging health buff ngayon.
