The hard part of being on vacation and taking summer classes is getting up very early in the morning so I can submit the assignments and take tests. Good thing the instructor was willing to forego my being physically present for attendance purposes. She did insist I send daily emails with lesson chapter discussion as part of my attendance.

On the way home yesterday, there were a few close calls on the road and all of them involved motorists with California plates. So many dickheads from that state. No wonder Nevada and Arizona cops have their number. Even California cops go after them more than motorists from out of state.

I don't know what's their hurry. Waiting a few seconds more will not delay their trip.

So happy when the karma cops nailed one of them.

There's something not right about an expensive (and recent) premium car on the side of the road with the hood popped open.

Bluetooth connectivity (and built-in USB power)is a bad thing. Between the wife's and the kids' music playlists on their iPhones, I was stuck with listening to girlie crap all throughout the driving parts of the trip. I didn't even get to play my music. *sigh*

I remember my wife's reaction when she saw that sign. She asked me where will she pee if she needed to go. I told her we'd stop at the side of the road, she would find a bush, sit down, and do her thing.

Ya. But, I've already been driving for over 2 hours. They've been drinking and snacking in the car, in addition to their breakfast (I don't eat much on road trips). I told them to use the bathroom before we left. None of them did. Now, we have a +90 minute stretch of nothing. Guess when they ask me how far is it to the next toilet?

In fact, I asked them earlier if any of them needed to use the toilet (as we passed gas stations in Hawthorne). No takers. So, I kept going.

We pass through here all the time and each time, it's always the same story. They never remember last time.
