ako masaya nako at may isasabit ako mamaya sa grad ng anak ko.

nagalit nga lang mom nya nung tinanong ko kung loyalty award ba ^_^
sa totoo lang mas prefer ko na lolo at lola nya ang magsabit nun dahil kungdi sa kanila di lalaki ng maayos yung anak ko. i really owe them.

I admit that my wife is the sharper academic between us two and it doesn't bother me a bit. The formation of a child is always a mix of both parents (so long as the both of you spend good time with them).

I'm happy when my kids perform well in school but i don't put too much weight on whether they are an honor student or not; I'm not that kind of parent who would post on FB announcing to the world that my child got some award. When my daughter got onto the honor list last year, i even jokingly quipped to the wifey na baka nandaya or nagkapalit ng grade... medyo sira ulo kasi yung daughter ko na yun. hehe. When they perform, we pat them on the back and move on to other things. We help them develop the basic of having study discipline but we pay more attention to how they are with their classmates, teachers, janitors, etc. and their ability to engage in different activities well (sports or the arts). A lot of us in the family are not high achievers in academics but we all did relatively well in our chosen fields later on.

I am of the belief that while a child gets 80% of his intelligence from the mom, he gets 100% of his street smarts from the dad.

Depende sa location. Sa pagkakaalam ko broadband(w/ outdoor antenna) yang Ultera, may times na erratic ang connection nyan. Why don't you apply for a wired/DSL plan?

LOL. Mas mataas pa naman sahod niya kaysa akin but we have a good mix naman as she has the higher salary and I have the assets.

So mahirap pala kung pakasalan yung mga sobrang trophy sa looks pero medyo haller up there. Dapat bumawi si lalaki sa isang katutak na street smarts para sa anak.
