    The closest I got to riding outside was one night (on the way home from Mapua) when I was hanging out at the back. I had one foot on the back step and the other foot on the flare side of the jeepney. I had both arms around a frame bar. I was on one side, another guy was on the other. A female student was kind enough to carry my books on her lap.

    The ride was pretty exciting, considering it was dark, there weren't that many streetlights (Ermita?) and the driver was going quite fast weaving around a lot.

    Reminiscing back..... I remember that one night when a very pretty lady sat next to me in a jeepney. She kinda snuggled close and soon felt her hand on my thigh. Right about the time she got off, she squeezed my thigh. I didn't do anything. I really felt good about myself until another passenger blurted out. "Lalake." I was like, "Yuk! She was a guy? How come I didn't catch that?"

    Nowadays, if a girl looks too pretty, she's probably a guy.

    But, overall, I still loved nights in Manila.

    Speaking of, are these BMW/Lexus style aftermarket lights worth buying? Curious lang if they give better if not equal level of illumination vs stock. May ibang LEDs din na mabilis mapundi kasi.
