Yes I like mobility. Can bring the rig anywhere in the house or out of town. Best of all I can play in the office ;) kidding.

But I find laptops take less space and make less noise. My room is a mess at it is so it helps reduce the clutter of cables somewhat.

And to be honest I cannot tell the difference In full HD gaming between high and ultra settings (pc can do ultra , laptop can do high at 1080p resolution ). I have witcher 3 for my PS4's and I can't tell difference with the cracked (lol) pc version. Me and my young ones are racing to finishbit first. I think I will win cause I downloaded a trainer haha

Anyway since most of the time (about 90%), im just browsing. I bought a mid level asus laptop (35k) then switched to home theater as a hobby, mas magastos pala hehehe
Yup. I used to run my Q6600 to 3.2 GHz, since that was the highest I could go at stock voltage. I also tried 3.6 GHz stable with my Hyper 212+ cooler but didn't need it.

Now I'm back to stock since I changed boards. Haven't fiddled with it much but it seems that the voltage control of this AMI BIOS on a Foxconn P45A-S board is quirky - you can't set a fixed voltage, just +/- in 0.01 increments, but I don't know the base voltage.

I don't play games anymore but a faster CPU and more RAM and an SSD would help for my Lightroom work.

Tama si EQ, once you get bitten by the bug, all rationality goes out the window.

I was most addicted with Test Drive Unlimited. Not the most realistic driving physics ever, but the ability to freely drive around Oahu was what made me fall for it. Countless mods available online too, so I handpicked what cars I wanted in my garage. There was also a physics editor so I was able to tweak the physics and make it more realistic.

In fairness, I got something out of it, as I felt more comfortable driving a car in real life after hundreds of hours on TDU. Same with my brother - he didn't have to go through that noob stage in driving since he too had countless TDU driving hours.

I've sold my Logitech wheel and haven't upgraded my hardware for years now, but I think all kids deserve to go through that gaming phase.

About test drive unlimited, last time na narinig ko down na yung servers nila

Found a way na to clean it up. Donating three laptops to my wife's office. At least they will be used as a tool rather than a time waster. Erase ko lang yung mga games hehe.

Just watched the wolf of wall street. The orgy scenes are out this world. I can only do orgies with girls and no males inside the room.

Snorting coke in the assshole is in the realms of crazyness

Because of this Caitlyn/Bruce Jenner thing.

What if one of your parent came out of the closet and say they're gay? Mind blown!

Just don't drive there during trucks hours. The traffic is really really bad.

I used to live nearby San Joaquin and Buting. The neighborhood is quite friendly. The place is relatively ok for me. I can tolerate the noise even during midnight and early morning. Also I'm used to walking and commuting. It is not uncommon for some morons to block your driveway or some areas to be flooded for a couple of weeks

Lexington was why I got the idea to live in the area. I find the houses cute and security is overkill. I was told hindi bumabaha The roads are narrow though and there are too much cars! Townhouses pala yun. I thought if there was a village with wider roads in the area, it would be nice to rent there. Thanks sir beeftapa, it's still more convenient to stay with my parents.

I have an impression that this hobby is expensive. I remember many years ago (early or mid 2000s) I knew several friends who were really into this game World of warcraft. They told me to get into it but I did not have a US issued credit card and my PC was just ordinary and didn't wanna spend upgrading. I also had an idea that it was addicting, I have a friend who even flew abroad to meet other online friends

However, now I'm confused with the market of online gaming because I also hear of jejemons addicted into online gaming. If the hardware and games are expensive, how is this so popular with the masses? I even watched a feature on Jessica Soho of jejemons making a song about this online game dota. How could these kids or teens have access to a US issued card (I begged my Mom to give me extension, ayaw ) or even PH issued card. I think you need to pay monthly for it (?)

Usual jeje game is DoTA. This game has really low system requirements, so practically any PC can run it.

Other games such as Witcher 3 (RPG), Crysis 3 (FPS), and Assetto Corsa (racing sim) are much more demanding when it comes to hardware requirements.

oh. so it depends on what game you are playing. These games you mentioned have a monthly subscription fee too? And dota does not?

I found the feature on jessica soho:

Di ko alam kung matatawa ako o maawa sa mga tao dito

These games have online multiplayer modes, but not necessarily a subscription. You might be referring to games like World of Warcraft.
