Hindi ko pa nga nakita, meron ka? But looking at her current pics, mukha ngang may retoke. Diba si Gretchen Fullido ang galing din ng pagka retoke? hehe

I really wouldn't be surprised anymore Maricar Reyes made it big in showbiz after the *** scandal

Sarah Balabagan had a stint in acting too I think?

Yeah... Even, among the men there are varying degrees of passion. There are those who simply use their buying power to buy, modify and dress up a car, and there are those who go through blood, sweat and tears to get a car running... Bonus if you have deep pockets but still go through the blood swear and tears process. Who's the bigger enthusiast?

I've been around cars and car enthusiasts of varying degrees for a good amount of time already. It's kinda hard to explain but for me you can really feel the difference between one with a real passion for cars, and those who "like" cars in a practical way, and the fantard. Funny as it may be but in a normal conversation the guy with a real passion and in-depth knowledge for cars will not always gush and show the motorhead in him, and will be well versed in a multitude of subjects. It all comes out and shows when the conversations get deep into the topic and when he is conducting "business" with motorhead peers. That's where us mere mortals start to get nosebleeds or fade into oblivion in the midst of the conversation, or learn many new things if we do listen. He doesn't "eat, sleep and breathe cars" compared to the fantard on the opposite end of the spectrum - the dude with the proclaimed car expert status and will go on and on and on about his ride and cars with his friends, family, officemates, on FB, whereever... And repeat the same things over and over again. Nothing else.

Thankfully most of us and the guys we encounter here are somewhere in the middle of that spectrum... Mga siraniko. Kaya masakit na ulo ng mga mods natin sa OT dahil napaka-vast daw kasi ng knowledge ng mga tao.

One man's junk, is another man's gold...

We've had a few clunkers before that i worked on as preteen with my dad (ah, the life before internet and mass market video games). A 1st gen L200 that was never released locally (1980-something JDM single cab that was junked at an office farm in Guimaras), a W108 left in our garage by his friend, and a Ford Granada (i have no idea what my dad was thinking with the Granada). They were restored pretty well with the help of the shop of my dad's friend (Ceed in San Juan). Would you believe the hardest to finish was the Mitsu pick-up? It took us over a year to source the tail lights back then. If my old man was still around im pretty sure he would have pushed buttons and picked up that barn find from last Sunday.

The Ford Granada was a fine big sedan back then, almost Benz/Opel-like. Very european too. I remember how I wish that that was our car back then, instead of our Opel Rekord.
