A nice belt would be nice too.

Or a Camelbak water pack if the guy is athletic and likes to bike/jog. I have three of these.

As you know, we men are fond of high-tech stuff that make our lives easier. We love tools that we can use.

Go to a workshop/hardware store and look for bosch/AEG products. Just make sure you're buying from an authorized dealer to make sure you get genuine products.

    like:

    A laser distance metering device.
    A high-tech drill.
    A high-tech grinder.
    A circular saw.
    A Jigsaw.
    and similar.

These days, I want a pneumatic nail-gun. I don't really work in a construction day job but I really like having these stuff because I like building my own things whenever I can. One of the things I like building are wooden furnitures aside from metal and stone.

or buy him a Braun/Krups Coffeemaker.

    yes, these look good.

You can also opt for a snorkel and scuba mask set if the dude can swim. it should be less than 4K (speedo). Good brands are Speedo, Mares (those are the only brands I've used so far).

Or if the guy has a figure, maybe some Speedos. No. I won't post a picture of one.

Something that'll make a guy really happy...... A barbecue grill! Yes!
    A small portable one:

    Or maybe an electric one:

Obviously, all my suggestions are slanted to my tastes except for the Speedos (I prefer Hawaiian swimming trunks). Oh well.

    Budget is P5K max?

I bought a Sony DVD player last Aug in SM (w/HDMI, USB) for less than P5K. Also for that budget, pwede Casio watch, wallet, pair of Levi's jeans & a shirt, bottle(s) of imported liquor, low end cellphone.... ano pa ba?

Or just give him some gift cheques. Bahala na siya bumili ng gusto nya.....

Oh by the way.....some of the things mentioned in this thread are way above P5K.

Yup. He is not much of a handyman so tools are out na

I was thinking of a gift cheque but that would be too impersonal

I like the backpack and coffemaker idea. Around how much is that???

I know he wants an ipod but he wants the 160 gb classic and that's around $250 which is way over my budget. I could buy him a Nano but I know that he won't be happy with that. hehe.

How about those high tech earphones? Okay ba yun?
