Most rolex's go down in value. Only the special editions and rare ones appreciate. A submariner, explorer, yachtmaster, etc will all go down in value as they are very common and there is a lot of production for these models. There is no way that a used 'common model' rolex will sell for more than a brand new one.

Only rare, limited edition, one of a kind rolexes go up in value. Dont make the mistake of telling yourself a watch is an investment.

for some inexplicable reasons, i don't like rolex. I'd rather splurge on IWC or Breitling watches.

Hehe...pilit na ung 15k doc kasi intrigued talaga ako sa smart watches to pair with my android phone. It somehow helped me become more productive and managed my time. Un lang nilubog ko sa dagat at ngayon balik sa reliable na skagen.

i read 2 or 3 years ago that a bank exec was charged with qualified theft by his employer because he used the money of the bank to buy luxury watches. yun nabaliw na. sabi ng mga former colleagues niya parang every week bago na naman yung relo niya. :o
