perhaps if timex will keep doing their thing with perfection maybe after 200 years they can produce something like this --
Nice! Wala na bro, kinakalawang na. My last freebie was when timex came out with their indiglo models pa. Mga 2006 ata un.

timex is good. its innards are ok. but i have to say, the external design, somehow.. it's stagnant.

Reminds me what i told my friends who has rolex watches and they are encouraging me to buy one as well for my self. My reply to them was, what is the difference between the time in your rolex watch as against my watch, it's the same right ? So why the hell go nuts for a damn expensive one when the time is the same.

I have a TUDOR though which i bought for P700 in the early 80's.

yes, the casio or timex, even the cheap child's digital LCD quartz accuracy, will run rings around the rolex's . besides, you no wear the rolex, it stops ticking.

what am i wearing now? a retro casio LCD! not the cheaper-looking 1500, but the "classier" 2500 peso. (both sell for the same, cheaper amount in singapore, btw..)

Sir maybe they're not suggesting you actually use/wear it, but keep it as an investment.

Sir, i'd rather invest in gold rings , gold necklace , diamonds and the likes for these are easily transactable & maintenance free . Watch? Damn it has maintenance and you have to look for the collectors/aficionados to get a good price.

To sight an example sir. Yung Tudor watch na nabilko ng P700 in 1982, naputol na yung isang shaft dun sa metal bracelet nya. When i asked for an exact replacement from a reputable store in HK, it cost 6K pesos in 1994. Mas mahal pa yung bracelet than the watch when i bought it. I bought a 58gms 999 gold bracelet in HK for 30K pesos in 2000. When the wife of my nephew who happen to work on a pawn shop saw my bracelet, her comment was easy 70K peso just for the pawning, hindi pa selling yun.

BTT : 50k pesos, putek pati friends ko magiging happy pati sila meron babae.

Ginto maintenance ng mga luxury watches, so talo ka in the long run.

I agree with macsd bili mo ng lang ng gold or diamond then tago mo sa vault kung investment ang nasa isip mo.

Deym! It looks like any ordinary watch to me bro!

most expensive watches are made of titanium and studded with diamonds.
