USELESS! Something that doesn't serve any purpose. Have you done anything useless to your car?

This is what I have done. Our CR-V 98 from "here",



to "there",



I had the wires "tucked in" and other "unsightly" tubes.

I have to say, this is totally useless! A waste of money and time. Why? I don't see any purpose for such modifications.

How about you guys sharing yours?

IMO, colored brake calipers/drums can be useless, but can be beneficial to some

I had to dig deep for my reply

1999, I once bought a sticker (parang tint) for my headlight para maging silver sya.

After a year of use, the heat made my headlights look pink! Tapos it also made my headlights weaker.

Yes, this is subjective and that's why I use quotation marks. However, I see it as useless because I don't see any purpose nor does it add any value to the car.

And with my "useless" mod with this CR-V, I have justified it when I prevented a potential problem with the wheel bearing or something.

I have always maintained cleanliness and because of that, I easily spotted the grease around the engine bay. I had the engine bay changed the color to white so as to accentuate the cylinder cover which matches the body color. And with that, I have justified this "useless" thing.

I know the purpose of that one but I didn't know it's useless for FWD cars.

If you are running for more than 200 kph, is it still useless? Or it's really only useful for RWD cars?

Hehehe… for me when i look st the engine, i would assumed the original color is white and you just repainted it with red/maroon metallic… unique color combi!

it will help the car (kahit FWD) in high speeds... like more than 120km/h
may nabasa ako noon na a modern passenger car was designed to operate efficiently until around 80-100km/h

anything more than that will require additional kits to enhance handling

So far wala pa naman ako "useless" na mod sa Mobi namin. Palit head unit to android, palit ng stock headlights to Osram NBL.

I am planning to change my stick antenna to a shark fin though. Di ko pa lang makumbinse sarili ko na bumili.

Tanda ko dati nung 90s isa ito sa mga uso. Tsaka yung mga sticker sa body na mga tama kuno ng bala.

Bought a few of the Garmin GPS Units and I have used them well and good for many years...

I am not using them now as the handphone has that integrated (through Waze et al), plus traffic condition.....

You are right, it is deemed useless now unless you use it for a fleet of trucks. For cars nowadays, your cellphone should do the job.

This reminds me of the guy who always gets lost even though he is using Waze.
