kids are more spoiled these days...the same way we were more spoiled compared to our parents ;)

the one thing i notice about young people today is that they don't seem to have little sense of paggalang and good manners. i remember one time when a family friend's sone and barkada were stranded nung nagbaha(lubog ung auto nila). we gave them a separate room to spend the night in. di man lang lumabas o tsumika nung naghapunan kami. nung umalis e di rin nag tenk yu. damn ingrates.

di naman totally nawala, pero pawala na B)

and they don't seem to know the usual diskarte our parents taught us -- parang nawawala ung sense of class(i'm talking about the kind that $$$'s can't buy) nila, even amongst the richer ones

for more specific examples(dito sa office):

-- a lot of cases where dirty dishes/spoons/forks are left on the sink.

-- pag kumuha ng food sa pantry, pasalamat ka na kung di kinuha ung buong garapon. i was always taught to get just enough at baka me kakain pang iba

-- they don't clean up very well. lagi me natitirang styro/plastic bag/garbage sa dining area. most of them don't seem to have any experience with a trash bag

and the most annoying of all...

-- walang nagpapalit ng tubig sa dispenser pag ubos na(talking about the boys specifically). the moment that you reload it, they'll get a drink. damn vultures.

...either walang pera panginom yan; or worse, mahina or di talaga umiinom pero gusto niya may beer siyang hawak for show.

what I would like them to improve on is their EQ. Sometimes they act too much with their emotion. Minsan, uuwi na buntis or kick out sa school. Sometimes, college to them is having a good time and just hanging out. I think they don't know the value of education, but kudos to those who work hard for their grades. A company will not hire you because of your failing grades. Wala ka na nga experience so your grades will have to speak up for you.

masyadong mapusok at maarte yung mga kabataan ngayon .. yung mga batang babae ngayon na ke-i-iksi ng mag damit .. i don't approve (but not really complaining either) ..

    1. kids think they know everything there is to know.. tsk tsk.. thus challenging authority (usually their parents)
    2. mapusok pa sila..
    3. tamad, gusto lahat nakahanda na para sa kanila. in other words, spoiled!
    4. typing in text form sa forums and other inappropriate areas. (but kids are not the only ones who are guilty of this hehehe)
    5. mga batang lulong sa CounterStrike. memorized nila ang keyboard; they can load weapons & move around with ease without even looking down to see if they're pressing the right keys... pero hindi marunong mag-type naman ng doc.
    6. when they get too materialistic.
    7. and yes, they can get a bit loud too. very annoying at times.
    8. napapa-iling na din ako minsan when they lack the capability to express themselves. sasabihin nila or, they'll just resort to using these as their default replies: "alam mo...", "stuff...", "whatever..." o kaya, "wala lang..."

but they're kids.. dinaanan din natin yan.

totoo yan, ganyan din tayo dati although on a lesser level.
    dati i wanted a 79 Lancer L-type... siguro ngayon that's a Honda Civic SiR...
