well i dont hate the clothes the kids wear these days, i LOVE them, especially the ones the girls wear mwehehehehe laki mata ko sa mga suot nila hehe

one thing i dont like lang is yung pagyayabang ng mga bata (gawain din to ng mga classmate ko dati nong bata pa kami). yung tipong "Pare, i just got a new car etc etc tapos ang yabang." e pera naman ng parents nya ginamit pambili ng oto na yan a, di nya man lang pinaghirapan yan e

i guess parents do have a lot to answer for. that's why if, God willing, i do become one, i'm gonna make damn sure my kids become worthy of the family name. naks!

people who don't have class usually buy stuff thinking it will make them classy. failing that, they brag about it, which ironically makes them cheap B).

agree 100%. sometimes i cringe at all the stupid things i did or said when i was younger...ganyan talaga ang mga bata, still trying to learn how to act like adults so they make mistakes. they are still trying to assert their individuality so they dress/act differently. they are still trying to build their self-esteem so they try hard to be cool and act mayabang.

i also agree with morrissey 05's comment about some college (and even graduate) students coming out with a huge sense of entitlement. they think the world is owed to them because they have a nice name on their diploma and get good grades. the people who succeed where i work are not these people, but people who may or may not come from the same school, work hard, try their best to be part of the team, and make themselves valuable to the person around them.

i don't need a lazy ass who wants a big salary and thinks he's better than everyone else because he's smart or came from school xxx, i need someone who will get things done, contribute valuable ideas, and make my job easier.

As a parent myself I'm preparing to face the challenges that fatherhood will bring especially when my son starts to think on his own. I'll try my best to set a good example. I don't believe that. Time, patience, understanding and attention are what kids need.
