those who choose time stopping powers... have you watched the Twilight Zone episode where a housewife found a pendant that can stop time on command? Near the end of the story, there was extreme confusing going in the world (pending nuclear war) and she stopped time. She walked out of her house (with time still stopped) and she looked into the night-time sky to see the glow from the intercontinental nuclear missile (russian) on it's way down.
