Tried this side by side with the Bar 2.1 and the Samsung soundbars and only the Bar 3.1 had the punchy bass that made movies more immersive and music more enjoyable.

Got it for just 24.5k at Ambassador Appliances in Shang. Much cheaper than the 32k SRP - other places (Lazada, Listening Room, Egghead, JBL) only offered a max of 15% discount.

Only problem is the bulky subwoofer but I'll just find a corner for it.

I tried both the 2.1 and 3.1 and the 3.1 is superior in every way - whether music or movies.

The 2.1 just doesn't have enough oomph and loses composure at high volumes.

Was also pleasantly surprised with the big price difference in Ambassador vs all other shops. I inquired with over a dozen appliance stores and magkakalapit lang presyo nila.

We also have a Samsung soundbar, KW-350. Sulit siya for 6.5k since it sounds decent. Was surprised at how it performed compared to other Samsung soundbars that cost more than double. Subwoofer isn't wireless though, and it loses composure at high volumes. But for regular TV/movie watching it's pretty good.
