i was afraid of this.
perhaps i should request the barber to wash and brush his hands with betadine and an OR brush for several minutes...
then alcohol-wipe the chair...
boil the instruments...
and use PPE! hey! i'll even provide the latex or nitrile gloves.
heh heh.

Sadly, closed pa rin ang barbershops ngayong MECQ. Looks like they'll be one of the last to be allowed to operate.

I'm guessing trips to the barber or beauty salon would have to be by appointment only - same as a dentist's. With enough time in-between clients to sanitize the instruments. Bring your own towels. Magiging parang dentista na sila with the gloves and everything.

As per IATF, such businesses are still not allowed to operate even on GCQ. A few weeks ago, I just bought a hair clipper at Lazada and asked my wife to cut my hair.

Dito sa lugar ko loosened na lockdown with partial opening of the malls. I wouldn't dare to go at this time, madami pa cases. The first thing I did was to buy my grocery early in the morning, wala pang masyadong tao. They loosened the lockdown because of the economy daw. We're still working from home.
