The S6 (and all its variations) and Note 5 have the best camera in the market right now.
The iPhone 6/6S and its Plus versions have really good colors, but in terms of overall detail and sharpness, ibang level na talaga yung Note 5.
I have a Note 4 and in clear sunny conditions talo niya iPhone 6 ko. But in poor lighting, laging mali yung white balance. Not a big issue because you can always fix white balance through photoshop, but you can't make a picture more detailed.
Pero yung Note 5 spot on colors all the time, with crazy good detail.

I bought my GF's Note 5 from Globe at 19k for Plan 999. But if you buy it as a standalone unit I think around 25k in OLX and 32k from Samsung or other mall stores.
If I didn't have apps that were iOS-only, I'd have traded my iPhone 6 and Note 4 for a Note 5 since it's also dual-sim.

The camera of the note 5 and ip6+ plus are both great. The advantage of the samsung is that the shots are more detailed due to the higher resolution. This is only seen when the photo is zoomed, the penalty however each picture file size is a lot bigger. For uploading to facebook. Instagram, etc, the resolution advantage is useless.
I woudnt get an s6 edge+ today as the s7 edge+ is coming

AVT screen mirroring module!! Para no need na upgrade ng HU, buti na lang shinare ni sir aar0nix lol available na pala dito.
Isa pa, Blackberry Priv. My Z5 literally looks like a gold brick (gold kasi color lol) in comparison. Ang ***y talaga nun. Not so good internals though.. And the jawdropping price tag haha.

I have an iPhone 6 and my girlfriend has a Note 5, and I've taken pictures extensively with both. Even for on-screen viewing, the Note 5 has noticeably better image quality.
All comparisons on the internet have the same conclusion as well. Not to mention, the Note 5 has greater dynamic range in each shot, allowing me more versatility in Lightroom if I need to post-process.
I'd argue that an iPhone can still keep up with a Note 4 due to better WB and quicker AF, but the Note 5/S6 is a different beast altogether.
Next gen Samsungs should come out by summer, but of course at a steeper price. It's a good idea to wait and see how big the improvement is. In my case for Apple, I upgraded my iPhone 5 to an iPhone 6 instead of a 6S since the difference was very minimal. I'll just get an iPhone 7 this Christmas since that will surely come with a new design, and hopefully a better camera.
