I don't think viber can import messages so its so hard to transfer phones if someone can help with a solution (free) will be much appreciated

Android? Titanium backup can do this kahit yung free version.

Titanium backup is an app sir. Download it to your current phone and then backup viber. There's a Backup/Restore command in the app. Take note of your backup folder that titanium backup uses.

Then on your new phone, copy your backup folder(which contains your viber backup data). Install a copy of titanium backup and make sure to have it use your copied folder as its backup folder too. Then have the app restore viber.
