What do you think of this poster I made?

...think of a catch line like "size does matter", or kahet wala na rin. teka, box of 6 for 110bux? mukhang malaki nga ah. makadaan nga sa ATC mamaya and grab myself a half dozen.

*everyone: I apologize for not giving feedback or applying some of the suggestions you all have made. I was embarrassed at my lack of photoshopping and illustrator skills needed to apply them.

*OTEP: thanks for the kind word of encouragement. You may like to know that our "Choco Sesame" flavored-donut uses Choc-Nut as one of it's ingredients for the topping. BTW more corrections pls. I want to make the best poster possible.

*miaztro: thanks for kind words as well. I need to know what doesnt work for you concerning the latest poster.

*CVT: at this moment no delivery pa kasi... mahal ang delivery charges.

*just4u: The latest poster is for a different line of donuts that are "bigger" than the "Hoopies". So the only association possible is the brand name of "Hoops" lang.

*IIE: dropped tbe box cause it failed to convey that these donuts are bigger than the "Hoopies".

"Bigger" was my attempt to convey the size difference between "Hoopies" and the latest poster w/o saying "hoopies" are small.

I welcome constructive criticism as I want to make this the best poster my limited abilities can do.

*NazQ: I was going after a cardboard cutout look. Added the "Hoops" logo at the upper right hand corner cause the sugar donut is taking up the space below.

*Helios: PoS material branding is done. Added the Sugar donut cause it was mentioned but wasnt shown. I was going for a bursting effect. The poster isnt big enough for the poster. Not that proficient sa PS yet but getting there. Placed the text of the donut prices on opposite sides. Updated the color of the text. I dropped the box as it failed to do what it was ment to do.

2. Will try to do the wavy flag suggestion kaso my abilities are limited. How about I put a person scaled down to make the donuts bigger and have him carry on his back or a sign that says "Bigger"?

coming from a layman's point of view..

why not put GO LARGE, GO BIGTIME or GO JUMBO instead... or something to that effect.

question lang po.. bigger din ba sya sa competitors? kasi if you put the word "bigger" on the sign, normally, a person would think the donut is bigger than the others (dunkin, country style, go nuts, etc.).

great job on the last edit of the poster. nice fonts and colors, the donuts are definitely big and eye catching.

based on the picture, the only negative i can see is that the company logo and brand is not very emphasized because its against white background. i don't know how you can fix this, but if you can, i think its gonna be perfect.
i give it a 9/10.

*NazQ:We did the footwork, went around and it appears we are the biggest "small" and "big" donuts in the Philippines to date at the same price point. Kaso I cant say it on the poster cause baka paginitan kami.

On to another project: a banner measuring 1 meter tall by 9 meters wide. Will be placed on the roof of the building where the main store is located.



Goal:

1. Get people who are parked in the parking lot to take notice and visit the store.
2. Be visible 10-50 meters away
3. Make people realize that there is a donut store at that exact spot
4. Raise pedestrian traffic

- ano po yung 2 dots na parang nabigyan din ng 'glow' sa left ng banner? placement ng holes na pagsasabitan?
- ok, na yung layout, pero yung "always fresh. good to share. hoops donuts" sana hi-res katulad nung ibang renders, para lang consistent ang banner.
- you can also experiment with the placement of the donuts para di masyadong symetrical

and whoever said that he lacks skill and profficiency? I barely have a number of minor crits with the banner design but they're just subjective and not in anyway significant. The concept will stand on its own without further edits bec it met all the major design criteria so far. This means that you'll achieve your 4 goals, well done sir OTO.
It will be nicer though if its mounted on a light box. The vibrant colours will come to life especially at night even from a distance.
