I miss the old Quad Mall ...
And the old Greenbelt, yung time na may Makati Supermarket pa! ...
Then the club row along the side of the church, San Mig, etc .... going to the corner where Faces used to be.

Nung 80's at early 90's, libre pa mga prutas at gulay, hingi ka lang sa kapitbahay.![]()

Yes Primo, the club row is now GB4 (?). The Shakeys was in front of Landmark near the corner. Remember mo yung beer garden under the trees? It was near the church din .. hehe![]()
Actually i miss my old neighbors. These were the families you grew up with, you could borrow lacking ingredients for your dinner, join them for merienda, at play at their yards, etc. There were quarrels over petty things but it was fun and there was still a solidarity and care for one another unlike neighbors today who took their place and park out and block the street, don't care about neighborhood issues that don't concern them, etc.
Di ko na alam yung beergarden. :D
^^ oh yeah the beer garden near the chapel,
San Mig Pub, New Orleans ......
tsaka yun A&W tabi ng United Supermarket

Oh wow!
Classic photo!
May Tom Sawyers pa ba? I still see Esperanzas.![]()

I think you can still get Orange Julius from Dairy Queen. Di ko lang sigurado kung pareho pa rin yung lasa.
Here are some more:
- Coney Island Ice Cream
- Bun on the Run
- Video arcades in Quad Carpark and Shakey's
- Did you know that the Wendy's at Park Square used to serve Beer?
- Daisy chocolate drink (sila ata yung pinaka unang milk products na nasa tetrapak) Anyone here remember these?
Miss ko na pagtambay sa azcaraga billiard hall sa recto, inom ng malamig na beer habang nagpapatugtug ng jukebox.
Yung mga kabataan ngayon hindi na alam kung ano ang jukebox.
