i'm not saying that it's wrong to have a tattoo, but be prepared to face the consequences of having one. our society has prejudices that continue to linger (and develop, as what is happening now with women with tattoos). so if you're not ready to fight for it (with all the prejudices that go with it) then i suggest you better find something else to do with your body.

and i'm not suggesting body piercing either.

ikaw ang nag-generalize, hindi ako. read it again before you react negatively please. at wala akong sinabi about cultural practices, ikaw lang nag-extend to that. so please do not put words in my mouth, i never said those.

so before you call anybody a racist or biassed, make sure you understand correctly what was written. i warned her of the consequences of it, i never commented anything about those women. my post was a statement of facts, not an opinionated editorial.

pnay_fickle_minded, kaya GREEN and labas non, hindi kse colored. Ganun ang kulay ng mga tattoo na hindi colored. IMHO, maganda lang ang colored tattoo sa light-skinned person. Kaya hindi colored ang tattoo ko, madumi lalo tignan kung colored.

I have one on each shoulder blade. They're both in KANJI and got it done in Japan.

Whatever makes you happy (with your BF's approval/opinion of course) do it. Make sure it makes sense at hindi mo pagsisisihan ang design. As for me, make is as discrete as possible. Pero whats the sense of having a tattoo kung discrete?! Ah ewan, basta ako kita lang ang tattoo ko kung naka tank top ako. 8)

in addition: nakaka adik ang tattoo, I'm feening to get mine redesigned or get four more on my back. If you like pain/challenge of over coming the pain while having it done, you would want more. Hindi pa tapos ang unang tattoo ko, sabi ko gusto ko ng apat pa. :mrgreen: I'm serious, nakaka adik ang tattoo 8O

bagay bagay lang naman ang tattoo di ba.... nway for me its an art... pero i have to think hundred times... type ko rin ang kanji... sabi ng friend ko ok daw sa kin ang magpa-tattoo... ewan ko lang :mrgreen:

nah, seriously, basta ba may class ang style ng tattoo and the location, walang problema. Kung bleeder ka, nakow, katakot takot na blood ang aagos while having it done. And of course, an alcoholic beverage is not recommended right before the tattoo.

Kakatakot yan baka mahawa ka ng HIV though rarely mangyari naman yun may possibility pa rin.

I heard from the news before nagka HIV sya dahil lang sa needle na ginamit sa tattoo nya.

Ako kse befeore magpapa tattoo din dapat buti na lang hindi natuloy....kse sabi ng iba nagsisis daw sila bakit sila nagpa tatoo

ang pagsisisi...

a. walang wenta ang tattoo, kung anong kagaguhan lang ang nakalagay, basta kool lang
b. kitang kita ang tattoo na medyo di na bagay sa present occupation
c. hindi na sila makapag donate ng blood
d. quality of tattoo is not that good
e. tattoo location

tama si P!lya, may possibility na mahawa ka ng HIV. I've heard all those NEWS right before I got mine, didnt stop me at all. una-una lang yan....pana-panahon lang yan :wink:
