we'll be going to singapore this holy week via KL. singapore lang dapat, but budget airlines bound for singapore during that time are fully booked so nag via KL nalang kami. still cheaper than flying PAL or SIA, kasama pa hotel. bale, 2 nights kami sa KL then mag bus to singapore.

searching the net, ito ang mga nakita kong ok puntahan: Genting highlands, Petronas, KL Tower, Times Square. ano pa ba ang mga ok puntahan within 1.5days? or kulang na yung 1.5days para sa mga yan?

pwede bang akyatin ang Petronas up to the top most floor? any getting around tips? dos and donts?

There's a free shuttle bus going to and fro Budget Airline terminal, Changi Airport Terminals 1 and 2. Just take the shuttle if you wanna see Changi Airport.

a few places to visit in KL:

    1. petronas towers: be there early to get tickets to go up the bridge-way on 41st flr. ticket offices open at 8:30AM, but i suggest you queue early as there are lots of tourists. but its closed on mondays. there is also the KLCC aquaria, a recently opened aquarium near the petronas towers (in KLCC Convention Center). entrance i think is about rm30 pax.

    2. KL tower: another place to get an aerial view of the city, rm15. there is a nice (but pricey) restaurant on top; good for romantic dinners. there is also an extreme 'slingshot' ride at the bottom. i have yet to give this a try but a friend said its exhilirating.

    3. malls: KLCC (in petronas), mid-valley megamall, one utama in damansara, ikea (the biggest in asia), hypermarkets (carrefour, tesco). upcoming sale will be the mid-year sale, hopefully by july-aug. mura dito pag nag-sale (kasi times 14 lang, compared sa singapore na times 31). although mas bago ang mga items na binebenta sa singapore.

    4. sunway lagoon - water theme park..lots of fun water rides. there is a hotel/mall/skating rink beside it.

    5. genting highlands - casino/theme park up in the mountains. lots of rides and attractions. better call first to check if the cable-car is working. there are times when friends of mine went up there only to find the cable-car isnt operating, so they had to take a bus.

meron palang computer sale next week sa KLCC Convention Center. lots of discounts & freebies offered. they have PC parts, notebooks, printers, monitors, peripherals & digicams for sale. ung ibang items same ang price sa retail store, but pag ganitong sale, may mga extra or bina-bundle na items. ung ibang items limited so its better go be there early.

ito ba yung rotating restaurant? if you say pricey, anong range ng prices ng food dun?
