That is why aside from running fast, I also taught my son some basic anti-bullying tactics kahit na 6 footer na siya at malakas naman pangangatawan. Gentle giant lang talaga eh. hehe, nagmana na genes ng nanay.

Hindi ko lang maturuan judo at boxing ngayon kais may braces pa, so gulang moves lang muna paano makatakas sa mga bully lalo na kung medyo marami. Pero so far wala pa naman nambubully na mananakit, tinawag lang siya jolibee noon.

Kinder lang siya may sinaktan, kinuha laruan ng kaklase niya ng isang bully, binatukan niya at sinabihang "bad ka!", sabay alis daw at nag-dinosaur walk ala t-rex na naman. Grabe tawa ko nung kinuwento ni misis (because of the t-rex walk afterwards, alam mong bata pa talaga at wala pa bahid ng kasamaan sa katawan eh) after magsumbong ng titser. Umiyak kasi bully, friends na rin naman sila ngayon nung binatukan niya.

I came from LSGH. Ang daming bullies noon doon. Mostly mga half Spanish & Half Americans. Even exchange students (foreigners) were not spared. But, after we all graduated from College, everyone changed. They regretted all the things they did & even reached out to all they offended. Rites of passage yan & we have to get through it. Those things will never change.
DLSZ, where my eldest studied, handles bullying differently naman. The bully & bullied are counseled by the guidance office for a certain period. I recall one boy, after testing & counselling, was allowed to finish the SY but was not allowed to rejoin the class. He takes his lessons in the Guidance office. He was not allowed to enroll the next SY. I guess they found something wrong with him psychologically.

the bigger kid has been pussified. he needs to get training ASAP or he'll turn into a total loser. then they should have a rematch but w/ safety gear and a referee. the bigger kid should easily defeat the smaller uglier bully

they could even become friends later on. they're just kids so let's cut them some slack. but the above should be done to prevent them from becoming problem adults in the future
