very unusual weather pattern for sendong. typhoons don't touchdown and wreak havoc on those places in mindanao (maybe except for the surigao provinces).
i heard drinking water is already very scarce in cdo and in iligan. some isolated places are really in dire straits as a result of wrecked infrastructures. i hope assistance from those concerned agencies won't be delayed by red tape

December 22nd, 2011 10:08 AM #622napag usapan na rin lang ung tubig, may use ba if somebody donated one of those home water purification systems(like those sold at Ace Hardware) ? They can just install it on any pipe supplied by any water source right? some units even have the UV feature, but i hear electricity is still a problem there.
Ung impression ko kasi, it may not be able to handle the volume needed...and you'd probably be replacing the filter every day or so due to the water quality/volume.
i heard somebody send a water purification system over to the affected areas..i seriously doubt if this is one of those mobile systems the US used in Iraq, but i'm curious as to what they sent/set up there.

Electricity was cut for two times already.
