When I checked last night, weather forecast for Metro Manila was sunny with no chance of precipitation.

When I woke up this morning,- dark clouds loom overhead...

When I was on my way to the office,- it already rained starting from Bicutan,- and the roads are wet and some portions are flooded....

    Ano ba iyan?

A few minutes later: And now, it is pouring like crazy......

I also like the rain... when i'm safe indoors with a hot meal, and my car is in the garage.

Nandun silang lahat sa ilalim ng pedestrian overpass. Blocking two lanes on a three lane road.

Kahit less, may nabangga ako kanina when I did a U-turn. Kahit innermost lane ako galing, nagulat ako na may sumingit on my left. Buti na lang di ko nasagasaan.

I have a bad feeling about the weather today. I wonder if it is flooded na at flood prone roads.

Marikina River approaching alert level | Inquirer News

MANILA, Philippines—The water level in Marikina River is reaching close to Alert Level 1 Wednesday as rains spawned by tropical depression “Isang” drenched parts of Metro Manila.

The Marikina River water level was at 12.6 meters as of 2:20 p.m., the Marikina public information office posted in its Twitter account.

Alarm Level 1 means at least 15 meters above sea level. In Alarm Level 2, the water is at least 16 meters above sea level which calls for “preparedness;” Alert Level 3 is 17 meters above sea level and calls for “evacuation;” while Critical Level is raised when the water is at least 18 meters above sea level and this calls for “forced evacuation.”

Tropical depression “Isang” enhanced southwest monsoon and brought moderate to heavy rains in parts of Luzon, including Metro Manila, and Western Visayas.
