Nag overflow yung Talayan River kagabi, and to think katabi lang yung bagong Quezon Ave-Araneta underpass...

Anyone remeber this? Sto. Domingo cor. Maria Clara St.

    lubog Araneta ave kagabi

nagtataka nga ako sa planning ng quezon ave araneta underpass

saan papunta ang drainage ng underpass? i guess sa Talayan creek. paano pag tumaas ang tubig sa Talayan creek? baha yung underpass

    should have built a flyover

I guess QC wanted its own version of the Lagusnilad underpass. Mas mahaba pa!

di kasi taga Araneta ave mga nagplano niyan hehe

di nila alam gaano kabilis tumaas ang tubig dito

pero ngayon alam na nila... kaya eto:

DPWH to finish QC underpass project by August - Manila Standard Today

Singson said the project will not be affected by flooding, because aside from its elevated location, the project includes the utilization of water cisterns beneath the underpass.

Three units of submersible pumps will also be installed, with 277 liters per second capacity, and will be operated depending on the intensity of the rain. The drainage around the underpass will also be upgraded in order to increase carrying capacity[/B].
note the "will also be" language

so the pumps weren't in the original plan?

    and the drainage upgrade?

guess they found out the hard way hehe
