puro kulog at dark clouds lang dito sa amin. orange nga ang sky dito ngayon dahil sa clouds. pero so far wala pang ulan

on the brighter side, it's the first time in a along while i'm being treated to an electrical storm lightshow by our window.

at about 5:30 pm today aug 18,
    sta rosa-tagaytay road.
    downpour.
    very poor visibility.
40 kph only, when we would usually do 80.
i was half-expecting someone to bump me from behind.
then there's this breadloaf van crossing the intersection without nary a light on...

isa lang naman ang nag-hazard blinkers. a new innova.
    serpentine driver.

^ true. But it's a costly dam refill.

Will this be an annual thing now? Last year ganyan din eh pero mas malala ata ito. Kawawa naman sila.

If people can build dams, they can surely build flood mitigating systems, kaso iba ang priority ata.

I remember hearing on the news na yung ibang dike na ginawa supposed to be pang harang ng baha, ilang bagyo lang eh nagigiba na. Turns out substandard yung materials ng dike kaya sira kagad. Obviously may kurakot dyan kaya substandard.
