Yes, last weekend was unusually hot and humid....

It rained hard in our area of SouthMM early this morning.

However, this morning,- as if no rain happened....

The monsoon just came back. It's only 91F (versus 110 F) today. Yaay!

Ain't that a beauty (the clouds and rain)? From the U of Arizona campus.

Looks like it'll be a busy week for me starting tomorrow. The thunderstorms are following the outline of the mountains nearby. We can expect the same for the next few days.

Malakas ata ulan sa dakong QC. Floods at EDSA-Santolan reported to be knee-deep, and lightining struck the EDSA-Santolan MRT station. MRT-3 now only running between Shaw Blvd to Taft Ave. only.

It's very humid, almost like the PH in the morning. I'm sweating just by standing in the shade. Must be all that monsoonal moisture from Mexico being advected from the south.

It feels good to be able to sweat easily

Of course, I'm on exercise mode right now. I don't get to see this often. I think I'll just take a walk and juggle the soccer ball today instead of going to the gym.

Lots of people have no power, including our clients. A big line of severe thunderstorms lashed the area. Had some tiny hail, lots of lightning and downpours. So, we closed shop for tonight.

Geeez. It's like a typhoon outside the house. Probably +50 kt winds and heavy downpours (which are blowing sideways).

    At work? Nothing.

It must have been the thunderstorm cell I took a photo of a couple of hours ago.

Officially, night began at 0854 PM. As soon as the heat source disappeared, the thunderstorms quit building upward. Nowhere for all that water to go but down. Whoosh.

The 10-day forecast shows high temperatures only in the low 100s. I hope the days of 110s are done for this year.

Currently 80 F with a humidity of around ~80%. It's like being in the PH say, Clark AB. <--- It's far enough from the ocean where humidity isn't always 100%. It could also potentially be much hotter during a dry spell.

Spent a few minutes pulling weeds and I'm already sweating. Felt good though.
